Wolf Media, a specialized integrated activations and mobile marketing agency, played a significant role in engagement initiatives for the awareness drive conducted by SBI General Insurance on the occasion of National Farmers Day or Kisan Divas on December 23, 2020. The highlight was executing the awareness drive across 50 villages simultaneously on a single day.
The drive was conducted in villages across the country, states including Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, in an attempt to make farmers aware of the necessity of insurance. SBI General and Wolf Media teamed up together for this mega event with the aim to educate farmers on the risks, uncertainties they might be faced with and how they can secure them with insurance. During the drive, farmers were informed about the value of a variety of crop and non-crop insurance options that would help them be prepared for natural disasters and other unforeseen circumstances.
SBI General Insurance spokesperson said, “With SBI’s parentage, we enjoy unparalleled reach and strong brand affinity in rural India. With this, comes a responsibility towards them to recognize our commitment towards our farmers. This was aimed as a step towards building a robust insurance system in rural India. Which can then empower farmers to mitigate risks arising out of farm-related losses. Conducting awareness drives in 50 locations on a single day, is a new benchmark for SBI General Insurance and we are glad to have partnered with Wolf Media for the same. The campaign was executed after taking all COVID-19 safety norms into consideration. A detailed SOP was chalked out to ensure people we engaged with were safe and the right information was being shared with them."
Talking to EVENTFAQS Media about the drive, Prakash Gopal, Founder Director, Wolf Media said, “Wolf Media conceptualized and created a 360-degree approach of engagement across 50 villages simultaneously on a single day."
