Lydia Buthello to Spearhead Events Across the Reliance Group as Head of Events at Jio World Centre

The Jio World Centre has appointed Lydia Buthello as the Head of Events to lead a plethora of events across the Reliance Group companies. Jio World Centre is a multi-use facility, which provides one of the largest global convention facilities and services in India.
As the new head, Buthello will spearhead all events across Jio World and will plan and execute various large scale events across the board for Reliance.
Prior to this, Buthello was the Executive Vice President and Head, Brand Experience and Events of Star Network in a career spanning 12 years. There, she handled the opening and closing ceremonies for Hero Indian Super League and Vivo Pro Kabaddi League, and also planned and oversaw all fan engagement and entertainment activities across all matches of Hero ISL and Vivo PKL from the start of the leagues until 2020. She also developed new divisions and recruited teams for brand experience and event creatives, oversaw how Star’s properties get utilized to engage consumers and enhanced partner experience for the brand including all sporting events via IPL, Cricket World Cup, ISL, PBL and PKL. Her portfolio included entertainment events too.
As the Head of Events, Lydia Buthello will lead all events across Jio World and will plan and execute various large scale events for Reliance Group companies.
