Škoda presents Supermoon Drive-In Zee LIVE Zee Studios PHD Media

‘Škoda presents Supermoon Drive-In’ an initiative by Zee Live and Zee Studios executed by PHD Media, garnered a full house during the drive-in experience of six preview shows of Bollywood movie Khaali Peeli at Backyard Sports Club in Gurugram over three days from October 2-4.

In collaboration with PHD Media, Škoda’s branded movie initiative saw the first two rows of the sedan category and the first row of the SUV category being reserved specially for Škoda cars at the drive-in shows. As part of this large scale socially-distanced event, the automobile manufacturing brand also achieved amplification through ticket booking phases.

From contactless ticketing to F&B arrangements, PHD Media undertook all the safety precautions for the event. The audience got to enjoy an outdoor big-screen experience post pandemic from the safety of their vehicles.

Tarun Jha, Head of Product and Marketing, Škoda Auto said, “Our whole objective as part of this campaign was to provide a space for people to come out of their homes while maintaining safety norms and social distancing. Being the highest selling car in our portfolio, as well as a family car, there was no better model to showcase than the Rapid for this family-oriented event. It was especially appropriate because we were promoting the automatic version of the Rapid TSI through our campaign. The overall response was absolutely phenomenal. Not only did we succeed in executing this outstanding event superbly, but it was also a special pleasure to enable families to enjoy an outdoor experience after six months at home. In light of the pandemic, drive-ins seem to be a very feasible opportunity for people to enjoy the big screen experience without flouting social distancing norms. All in all, we are delighted with the results and look forward to pushing the envelope even further with more such campaigns.”
