Thomas Cook India, SOTC Partner with Amar Chitra Katha to Launch Journeys that Bring History Alive

Thomas Cook (India) Ltd., an integrated travel services company and its Group Company, SOTC Travel Ltd., have partnered with the publishers of Amar Chitra Katha comics to launch ‘Great Indian Journeys’ - specially-curated itineraries that aim to take travellers through time, reliving India’s history and culture as they travel.

Historical characters including Birbal, Tenali Raman, Sudama and Chetakhave been hand-picked to act as a personal guide through each journey. The itineraries have been curated by Thomas Cook India and SOTC’s holiday experts and creatively illustrated via graphic comic strips in the distinctive Amar Chitra Katha style.

The Great Indian Journeys is a 4-5 day itinerary that includes historical places like Chittorgarh, Kumbhalgarh, Udaipur, Mathura, Hampi, Delhi, Agra and more. Each itinerary incorporates elements such as personalised story-telling sessions around historical characters, sound and light shows, local culinary experiences, and more.
