Madhya Pradesh Tourism Workation

Madhya Pradesh Tourism has launched a new concept called ‘Workation’ - vacation as you work - to break the monotony of ‘work from home’ made mandatory by the Covid-19 pandemic. It aims to provide an office-like space at its key hotels and resorts, where people can holiday as well as carry on with regular work, using their free time to travel around, enjoy nature and rejuvenate from the stress of their regular lives.

The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board said in a statement that ‘Workation’ is a conscious effort to allow people to separate themselves from their permanent environment, and get “extremely focused on one element of a job”.

It has opened up this offer at many of its scenic jungle resorts like White Tiger Forest Lodge, Bandhavgarh, Kipling's Court, Pench National Park, Bison Retreat, Satpura National Park, Champak Bungalow in Pachmarhi, and Sailani Island, Omkareshwar.

All these hotels and resorts are situated at places that have facilities such as high speed Internet connectivity, power back-up, comfortable stay, medical and first aid facility, healthy and fresh food and beverages, room service and follow all the essential government guidelines, norms and protocols with regard to safety, hygiene, sanitization, etc.
