Asif Kamal Foundation Organises Hybrid Art Exhibition with Alturaash Art and Art & Bid Auction House

Asif Kamal Foundation, a body that works in rural India in the field of healthcare and education, has collaborated with Alturaash Art, Delhi and Art & Bid Auction House, Dubai, to organise a virtual-cum-physical art exhibition.
The 60-day exhibition began on 15th August. Exhibits will be on show online on the websites of Alturaash Art Gallery and Asif Kamal Foundation, while a physical show is live at Alturaash Art Gallery in DLF South Court Mall, Saket, New Delhi.
In an official statement, organisers said they expect to sell art and artworks worth about Rs. 2 crore to buyers in India and abroad. Organisers have pledged to donate Rs.20 lakh to the Bihar Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, to help people in the flood-affected areas of the State.
This exhibition will feature works of established artists like M F Husain, Ram Kumar, Krishen Khanna, K K Hebbar, Jamini Roy, Ravi Verma, Jogen Chowdhry, Laxma Goud and Badri Narayan, and also emerging artists like Valay Shende, Chittrovanu Mazumdar, Vivek Vilsasini, Pradipta Chakraborty, Vikash Kalra, Manish Barodia, Raj More and Zoya Singh.
Asif Kamal, Founder of the eponymous Foundation and Art and Bid Auction House, said, “As we all go through this unfortunate Covid19 epidemic phase where the whole world is struggling to survive, the State of Bihar has another inevitable difficulty due to massive floods in various regions.”
“As the world experiences unprecedented challenges, Asif Kamal Foundation is committed to providing critical support to the vulnerable populations that are acutely impacted by unfortunate events,” he added.
