FICCI Frames, one of the largest conventions on the business of entertainment, will go online in 2020.

Befittingly, one of the discussions at this year's summit will be on the future of live events in a locked-down world. A session themed 'Virtually Live: Can live events survive in a pandemic world" will be moderated by Roshan Abbas, Managing Director, Geometry Encompass.

The panelists are Albert Almeida, COO – Live Entertainment, BookMyShow; Alex Fane, Managing Director, Fane Productions; Brian Tellis, Co-Founder & Group CEO, Fountainhead MKTG; Deepak Choudhary, Founder & Director, Event Capital; and Vivek Singh, Managing Director, Procam International.

If people are expected to stay away from outdoor events – concerts, plays, etc. – how can the content be brought home? What is the impact on the target audience as events move online? How will this affect content production formats and pricing? The speakers will seek to answer these questions on 9th July from 4 to 5 pm (IST).

"FICCI FRAMES has been Asia's largest conference on the business of Media & Entertainment for the last 20 years. This year we could not do it in March due to the COVID outbreak, as health is of utmost priority to us. We are now pleased to bring FRAMES in virtual Avatar, e-FRAMES, which is the world's first & largest online conference on the business of Media & Entertainment. We hope for insightful knowledge sharing by esteemed speakers" said Leena Jaisani, Assistant Secretary-General, FICCI.

For the first time, it will be hosted virtually from 7th to 11th July, featuring over 75 speakers across 25 sessions. Over a thousand delegates are expected to attend, according to organizers.
