Asia’s largest Business and Recognition Platform for the Experiential Marketing, MICE, LIVE Entertainment, and Wedding industry which debuted in the Middle East last year, is back with its 2nd Edition. Scheduled for September 2020 (date and venue will be announced shortly), WOW Awards Middle East 2020 will bring together the Experiential industry of the region in a celebration like never before!

This year we are pleased to announce the WOW Decade Awards to recognize and celebrate the best events done in the decade gone by! The 13 categories of awards will celebrate Campaigns / Events / Activities / Initiatives of brands, corporations, associations, government bodies, etc. for a defined customer, for the purpose of promotion, communication, and marketing executed between 1st January 2010 to 31st December 2019.

Take a look at the list of categories:

• Launch of the Decade includes a live event involving the announcement / inauguration / introduction of a new product / service to a relevant TG.

• Concert of the Decade consists of a large format showcase of entertainment to a consumer base through ticket sales.

• Public Event of the Decade covers a large-format showcase event organized for the public, including sporting, lifestyle, entertainment, leagues, tournaments, and/or ceremonies.

• Wedding of the Decade comprises of a wedding celebration that stood out on the parameters of design, management, entertainment, execution, and impact.

• Production of the Decade includes delivery of end-to-end production of an event while overcoming execution challenges.

• Exhibition of the Decade covers the promotion of a brand through a showcase at an exhibition having multiple-participants. Showcasing the overall experience curated in the context of other brands being present at the same platform.

• Corporate Meeting / Incentive program of the Decade consists of a corporate meeting or conference featuring knowledge-exchange, educational sessions, strategic discussions for any stakeholder group (management, shareholders, employees, trade) of a company.

• Festival / Festival Brand of the Decade - Entertainment comprises of sustainable, engagement platform centered around a Festival / Festival Brand.

• Luxury / Lifestyle Event / Event Brand of the Decade includes luxury event involving one or multiple luxury brands promoting / announcing a new product / service to the relevant TG.

• Art / Cultural Event / Event Brand of the Decade consists of a sustainable, engagement platform centered around music / art / cultural or lifestyle aspects.

• Sports Event / Event Brand of the Decade comprises of sustainable, engagement platform cantered around a sport / sports / E-sports.

• Government Special Event of the Decade covers an event of a government / government department, with aspects of a conference or a meeting, business exchange, knowledge sessions, gala evening, and/or exhibition.

• Association / Government Congress of the Decade includes the recurring event of an industry segment / industry association or government event, with aspects of a conference or a meeting, business exchange, knowledge sessions, gala evening, and/or exhibition.

Each entry on WOW Dacade Awards has to be described basis an executive summary explaining why it should be the event of the decade, brief/objective, concept, execution, and results/scale. 

The two-phased judging process by jury members audited and validated by KPMG, awards will be announced during the glittering ceremony. Each Jury member is selected from complementing backgrounds with extensive experience in the industry to ensure complete transparency in the judging process. Jury members are particularly very knowledgeable and thus have an upper hand in deciding the most deserving winner.
