Purple Tree Event Solutions planned and managed a destination engagement celebration. The significant feature of this lavish affair in Oman was that it neither fell into the category of a destination wedding nor a destination engagement ceremony. It was a post-engagement celebration at a selected destination – the very opulent Oman. Purple Tree as the event planners, chalked out an itinerary to engage 600 guests so as to suit the interests of different age groups and thoroughly delighted them with the activities and functions that were implemented.
The first day began with establishing a perfect welcome for the guests at the airport as well as at the venue. A unique interactive installation at the lobby provided some amusing engagement to the guests as they walked in. A large backdrop with the World Map depicted on it, asked the guests to mark a destination for the couple for their honeymoon.
An amiable, open-air lunch awaited the guests at the Al-Tanoor Terrace Restaurant, with comfortable seating under white fabric tents. The guests were received with local delicacies served like the Omani coffee, Baklava, Omani halwa, and many other beverages and appetizers that held a native essence of Oman. Mixologists flown in from Mumbai, engaged the guests at the bar with their bartending skills as they whipped up their best signature drinks for them. The guests were invited to pen down their best wishes, memories, blessings for the couple which would be preserved as a souvenir for years to come. A great deal of attention was placed in selecting and pre-tasting the lunch menu.
The ambiance was filled with tunes that were local favorites which blended in perfectly and on the whole, the entire setting gave the guests the impression of thriving in the experience of a modern Omani Souq. The luncheon spread was replaced by chaat stalls and massages were provided at the beachfront, as the guests continued to revel n the serenity of the Sundowner.
Later in the evening, an extravagant setting was created for a ring exchange ceremony near Turtle Beach - which is among one of the five sea turtle nesting sites in Oman and hence, an exclusive, highly protected venue in the country. The stage for the ring exchange ceremony was an abundance of florals, bespeckled with delicate crystal ornaments.
The ambiance was enriched suitably to match the magnificence of the stage, thus making the celebration look nothing less than a coral floral dream. The evening was made more enchanting with a harpist, playing his mellifluous notes through the evening. The entrance of the couple was planned and rehearsed well in advance, which when implemented, left the guests in awe.
The celebrations proceeded with a uniquely themed after-party that ran on till the early hours of the morning. The theme termed “Prohibition” brought about a couple of experiences such as a backdoor entry, which kept the guests amazed and took the idea of fun to a higher than regular level.
The next day morning, the guests indulged in their touristy side by being taken sight-seeing through Oman. The guests returned to a relaxed, beach-themed, lunch at one of the most premium and highly restricted, private venues of the resort.
The final celebration dinner at Bar Al-Jissah Ballroom proved to be the grandest of all, displayed in a radiant red. The guests were presented with a lavish feast and an open bar that elegantly served some of the finest liquor and cocktails in opulent glassware. Powerful and rhythmic music kept the guests grooving all through the night and the spirit of the party stayed high till 6 AM in the morning.
