FNP Floral Touch Dubai Parks & Resorts

FNP Floral Touch recently not only executed the entire wedding décor but also the entire wedding planning for Vidhi and Amit’s 3-day extravaganza wedding celebrations at Dubai Parks & Resorts.

Day 1 was an intimate family affair and saw the arrivals of close family members from the bride and groom side. The dholwalas welcomed the family members and guests alike upon each arrival to the hotel lobby. A hospitality desk was set up at the center of the lobby.

A circular backdrop was designed by the team which had a wooden cutout hanging of the couple logo in the thematic colors as per the wedding invite. Upon welcome each guests was served special concocted welcome drinks and Indian sweets to traditional flower and pearl garlands. Thereafter, the couple was handed over a pocket-sized wedding itinerary along with personalized room key cards.

The day started with Janau (thread) ceremony for the groom in the morning. The décor for this ceremony was done up in traditional yellow marigolds and cut florals with a touch white in jasmine flower hangings along with traditional bells.

Later in the evening was the mehndi ceremony at the Lapita Hotel lawn in Moroccan themed décor in blues and pinks. The huge pink/purple and blue glass lantern hangings in the lawn passageway was a showstopper for the evening.

A local talent named, Fahmil Khan along with his band performed enticing tunes to keep the mehndi vibes intact and the guests grooving for more. Post the mehndi ceremony, the family clan was up for an after-party which took place at the Lani rooftop in Lapita Hotel itself. DJ Gautam took charge to get the family to let their hair down and party until the wee hours of the morning.

Day 2 witnessed the guest arrivals which was followed by the welcome brunch for all guests at the Lapita Hotel, poolside. The décor for this was done in the refreshing Spanish summer vibes with fresh lemons and ferns. MC Punit Lalwani opened the brunch by welcoming all the guests, interacting with them as well as keep them engaged with a couple of games and tasks associated with the bride and groom.

There were a lot of different dance performances that were thrown in between MC’s interaction to keep guests entertained. Thereafter, the couple arrived with a lot of fanfare to Spanish music after the beautifully dressed dancers and confetti cannon blasts shot upon landing at the dance floor. MC announced Walter, the water drummer along with DJ Gautam as the main entertainers for the afternoon, and the dance floor was opened to all the guests.

The guests had a great time enjoying the various activities such as face glitter art by glitter box to games ranging from giant Jenga to beer pong.

Later, the most awaited party of the wedding, the Sangeet took place in Tamure ballroom at Lapita hotel in an immersive woodland theme. The ballroom was turned into all sorts of green forest décor. Sangeet witnessed a number of dance performances ranging from LED mermaid to LED cabaret acts. Upon the couple’s arrival along with exquisite dance performers low fog machine made for a dreamy entry. The couple exchanged the rings while the cold pyros lit up simultaneously. The couple then cut a delicately designed 3-tier cake, followed by pouring into the champagne tower and raising toasts to the occasion.

Both sides of the family performed to a personalized skit carefully weaved together by choreographer Sarthak Mahendru. Post the family performance, the MC introduced the entertainers for the evening – Rajdeep Chatterjee and band who rocked the night with super powerful ballads. Moreover, DJ Bhavuk was especially flown down from Delhi as the bride was very inclined to have him rock the sangeet after party with his splendid music and CO2 gun gimmicks for their friends and family.

Day 3 started off with Saat Saun ceremony for the bride and groom separately which was followed by the baraatis getting ready for sehra bandi to head for the wedding pheras at the Riverland in Dubai Parks & Resorts. The groom made his entry on a beautiful white horse along with the baraatis dancing to the fun tunes of DJ Gautam from Lapita Hotel to Riverland at the Dubai Parks & Resorts. The baraatis were welcomed by fresh and exotic sweets such as walnut brownie and pan petha. The sweets were produced by Gangour Sweets and baraatis couldn’t get enough of it and came back for more.

The bride made her entry is a florally dressed up gold cart from Lapita Hotel to Riverland. The bride’s entry was planned with a number of traditional dancers performing in front of her during her walk-in fresh floral chaddar held by her brothers. The bride reached the lotus jaimala stage to exchange garlands with the groom and post their exchange of garlands, a phenomenal petal blast took place over the couple which made for a fantastic view. The performers than performed Ganga aarti while the bride was accompanied to complete a smaller ritual before the bride and the groom head for pheras on to the mandap.

The wedding mandap made for a majestic sundowner view which was truly enjoyed by all guests. The pheras were enriched by the chants of the vedic team who were especially flown in from India to be a part of this auspicious ceremony and that which kept the guests engaged.

Thereafter the reception was held at the RajMahal in Bollywood Parks. The wedding décor was a huge play on subtle accessories and furniture in reds, whites, and golds.

The guests were welcomed to the elegant wedding reception at the RajMahal with the female instrumentalist band performing – Harp, Cello, and Violin. The couple entered after their change of ensemble at the reception with chandelier dancers leading them the way up to the stage. The couple had their first dance with the low fog under their feet giving an illusion as if they were walking in the clouds. Post that the couple cut the cake with the cold pyros accompanying them adding to the glitz and glamour of the evening. The main entertainers for the evening - Bryden & Parth took stage post that and sizzled the guests with their refreshing voices and choir songs.

The biggest challenge that the team faced during the wedding was to build a mandap on an existing concert stage which has an existing platform height of about 1m. Moreover, the problem was escalated since the platform also had an existing box truss which was at a height of about 6m. Upon request to the Dubai Parks & Resorts authorities to get the existing box truss to a workable height of even a 4m, they refused the same and the team had to work on plan B of building up another box truss for the mandap over the existing platform.

The end result was that the mandap turned out to be one of our best signature peacock mandaps till date and it made up for a breathtaking sundowner pheras ceremony.

FNP Floral Touch recently not only executed the entire wedding décor but also the entire wedding planning for Vidhi and Amit’s 3-day extravaganza wedding celebrations at Dubai Parks & Resorts.
