The Circuit Comedy Festival Goes Digital, Features More than 40 Top Comedians from the Country!

The Circuit Comedy Festival OML

The first digital edition of OML Entertainment Pvt Ltd’s multi-genre comedy festival, The Circuit will be held from April 22nd to 26th 2020 with its digital edition titled #SitDownComedy, with performances by some of India’s biggest comedians. The Circuit has something in store for everyone with some interesting comedy formats, adapted for at-home consumption to give viewers a unique experience by getting up, close and personal through virtual performances. 

There will be 3 shows each day, each with an interesting line-up and a fun mix of formats. As movement is restricted due to the current uncertainty which surrounds us, this festival hopes to spread some joy and provide entertainment for you right at home. 

The lineup will feature more than 40 comedians from across the country who will be coming together to stream live. The festival is designed to offer innovative and unique experiences to audiences who enjoy comedy in various forms. Specially curated lineups like debate shows, storytelling shows, regional comedy, roasts and more is in store for fans. The festival will include performances and appearances by comedians like Tanmay Bhat, Rohan Joshi, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Sumukhi Suresh, Neeti Palta, Kaneez Surka, Amit Tandon, Sumaira Shaikh and more.

Ltd said, “Out of precaution and concern for the safety of artists, fans and partners, we had earlier called off the first edition of The Circuit Comedy festival which was due to take place across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore from March 6th - 15th last month. We're really excited for this quick pivot to a virtual avatar where India's favourite comedians will still get a chance to entertain their fans in the safety of their homes - and not just those restricted to those three cities.

As OML, we've had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented comedians from around the country and abroad. The Circuit is our celebration of the versatility of the genre and the messages it can hold, especially in a time at which we’re all restricted to staying at home. We’ve put together a great lineup ranging from roast battles to quizzing, making sure there's something for every comedy fan that can also be translated to a unique digital experience.”
