Shyamalee Thevar Events Taj Krishna Taj Falaknuma Palace
A beautiful wedding wherein Shyamalee Thevar Events not only did the decor but the entire wedding planning at the Taj Falaknuma and Taj Krishna, Hyderabad, a new city with some awesome destinations and backdrops to work with. The amazing locations of Taj Falaknuma and the Taj Krishna formed the perfect backdrop to this wedding. Dipak Studios beautifully captured the best moments of this elegant wedding.

Spread over 3 days between the 2 venues, this was one of the few challenging yet an absolute fun wedding that Shyamalee Thevar Events pulled off in a month's time. Each and every look had to be different and be treated in accordance with the venue - especially Taj Falaknuma. When a planner has an already existing beautiful location, how do they add more to it and yet maintain the grandeur of the venue is what really kept Shyamalee Thevar Events going for the wedding.

The welcome dinner had a complete Moorish theme wherein they treated the loungers with Moroccan Lattice cutout panels. Huge Moorish architecture arches formed the walkway to the venue. A lot of architecture, patterns and lattice cutwork from Morocco formed the basis for the design.

Theme and decor for Mehendi was more of the reflection of the fun side of the bride Prachi who also wanted to show a glimpse of Delhi. Colorful tassel strings from the ceiling and from Champa trees set the evening. While the bridal seating and the photo both were filled with florals, the tables and the games had some fun typical Delhi words written all over it.

Sangeet decor and theme was the complete play of lights - the palace was lit up in purples and blues. With a bar that had a huge light chandelier over it to the sangeet stage, naked bulb lighting highlighted the evening. Big Floral Urns and centerpieces done in whites and lavenders set a classy yet glamorous look for the evening. Some amazing family performances and Abhijit Sawant set the stage on fire.

The next day was a small haldi ceremony complete with yellow and white marigolds giving it a subtle traditional look.

The pheras and the reception were held at the Falaknuma - Deep reds and dark pinks were the colors for the Mandap and the Pheras set against the backdrop of the palace. And in complete contrast to the pheras was an all-white and gold reception.
