Corporate gifting has become a vital part of marketing communication to build a strong relationship with clients and employees. Rage Chocolates is a leading corporate gifting chocolate company based in Bangalore that provides a wide range of chocolates and is the perfect blend of art and mystery each with its own special distinctive flavor designed to be savored slowly. Rashmi Vaswani, Owner, Rage Chocolates, in an exclusive interview with EVENTFAQS Media talks about corporate gifting hampers, trends, and brandings strategies. 

Please share examples of the different corporate gifting hampers/options Rage offers

When a corporate company comes to us its most often during Diwali or Christmas that is during seasonal gifting time. Almost all our clients want their logo on it and we have chocolates in a square shape so we put their logo on the box as well on the wrapper of the chocolate itself. We have an inhouse design team, which designs certain options for the client based on their company logo, brand colors and budget. We send each client a few illustrations out of which the selected illustration is made into a sample box which is then sent to them along with special Rage Chocolates to choose from and that's when the final piece is made.

We offer various types of corporate gifting options like boxes, hampers, and hampers in boxes with a large variety of Rage Chocolates. In our Corporate hampers, we mostly customize it with a bottle of champagne, a diya, a candle and so on depending upon the occasion of gifting. Corporate clients mostly go with either ethnic packaging or contemporary designs like nowadays artificial flowers are very popular so we do that as well. 

Please elaborate on how you identify new trends for corporate gifting and ensure Rage stays up to date with these?

When a corporate client comes to us they tell us about the company, show us the logo, talk about the gifting plan and that's when we decide and completely customize the boxes or hampers according to them based on the new trends. For example, we initially found that corporate clients wanted to do mithai for gifting as there are few traditional companies who opt for traditional gifting. We then came up with chocolates with traditional Indian flavors cut in the shape of mithai and vark on top to give it a traditional Indian mithai look.  

Nowadays people are getting health conscious that's why we at Rage Chocolate started making vegan, organic and gluten-free chocolates. We keep ourselves updated with market trends to give the best boxes/hampers to our clients. 

Please share examples of brands/clients you have worked within the corporate gifted branding space recently?

Rage chocolate has been associated with many big brands including airlines, construction/builders, Car Brands, Hospitality and banking sector. We have worked for Kotak Mahindra Bank, Barclays Bank, Prestige Group, Lokhandwala Builders, Max Group, Nitesh Developers FedEx, Singapore Airlines, Air Asia, Vistara, Westin Hotel Gurgaon, Hyatt Goa, Volkswagen, Honda, Chevrolet, Mercedes, Vatika Business Centres, and Enviro Facility Management. Many times we have to make different boxes of different sizes for the same client in the same design as they have different requirements. 

We don't focus only on the chocolate, we strive to make the entire experience, a wonderful one – right from choosing the flavor to packaging with a message.
