Tagbin Experiential Innovators
On 50 years of celebrating the International Film Festival of India, Tagbin conceptualized, designed and executed Digital Interactive Exhibition, of 20,000 sq.ft area. The exhibition was held at the Darya Sangam, Goa and continued for 8 days from November 21st to November 28th, 2019. It was a combined initiative of the Regional Outreach Bureau (Maharashtra and Goa region) under the Bureau of Outreach and Communication in association with the National Film Archive of India - the media units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Amit Khare, Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.
The event was attended by an audience ranging from celebrities to government dignitaries, with more than 3000 visitors every day. Many well-known celebrities and directors of the film industry and politicians were present at the event.
High-end technological engagements were designed on the theme of ‘50 years of IFFI’ making visitors relive instances of its victory over the years. The initial installation amazed the audience with a big façade wearing the projection mapping show. A promising reflection of cinema over the decades. The show takes down the memory lane of 50 years of IFFI singing its anthem on a large-scale canvas. The show presents an interesting genre of films based on the motto of IFFI ‘One big family - Vasudhaiva Kutumbh’.
High-quality content, striking visuals, and engaging narratives were systematically crafted. The face of Façade was transformed into custom designs of film scenes. zoetrope was the center of attraction honoring countries of focus-IFFI. It was theoretically a cylindrical structure that created motion with a rapid sequence of static images. This modern and slit cut installation was the showstopper of the exhibition, creating an illusion of film videos spinning altogether. For the first time in history, zoetrope was clubbed with an installation of 360 degree-selfie camera inside its big room.
The discretion of tech-work in the projection mapping show, zoetrope, LED screens, Touch Tables, Flipbooks, Backlit Pyramid and Hologram installations, a miraculous range of human engagements like AR, VR and studio bullet times 360 degree-selfie camera were activities that put the show at buzz. An interactive wall projection was linked to the kiosk table to watch movies based on Mahatma Gandhi’s life experiences.
