Arika Event hosted a gorgeous wedding celebration at the Sahara Star, Mumbai. From maintaining the requirements of the bride, groom, and their families to delivering beyond their expectation, Arika Event offered end to end planning and execution for this wedding. Details of all the functions are given below -

A Classy Mehendi

Although the bride had a mehendi ritual for herself and her girl squad on the day of the mehendi function, a more elaborate celebration was hosted the next day for the whole family and relatives. With the gorgeous decor featuring accents in shades of yellow, the mehendi function was all about having fun as the hosts wanted everyone to have the time of their lives, dancing and partying. For the wedding favours, there were beautiful traditional hair ornaments and bangles handed out to the ladies present at this celebration.

A Shimmering Sangeet

The Sangeet was hosted at the Jade Ballroom. It was a grand ceremony with shimmer as the theme to give the entire venue a touch of glam. For the dance floor, the event planners used themed lights to cover the stage area. This matched the spark of the performances & the music chosen for everyone to dance on. Both the families of the couple had spectacular dance performances planned and they danced the night away. A unique mocktail mixology bar was also set for the guest – creating a relaxed environment.

A Tel Baan in the Shades of Sunshine

The couple’s wedding functions began with the tel baan ceremony that had a ‘Shades of Sunshine’ theme. An intimate function with only close loved ones of the couple attended, the function was hosted in the morning. The guests were offered breakfast.

The tel baan ceremony was a riot of colours and smiles as the families came together smothered with lots of love and blessings.

A Lovely Wedding Reception

An overwhelmingly, beautifully designed reception stage with intricately detailed panel backdrop with gorgeous green & white florals tassels was created to enhance the look of the venue for this special occasion.

The couple sofa was set against a bed of fragrant florals and a tall tree decorated with luminescent lights.

·         There was a special requirement in food. The families wanted proper authentic Marwari food for all meals during their stay in the hotel. And for this, the planners got on board 2 Maharajs to specially prepare the food as an addition to the food served by the hotel.

·         Deciding the entertainment was a task as the client was not interested in the singer artist so team Arika advices them to play musical housie with exciting gifts for giveaways. The guests were given these gifts during the event.

·         We planned the event keeping in mind the preferences of the bride, groom, and their families. And the event turned out to be a memorable one.
