F5 Weddings Jagmandir Island Palace The Leela Palace, Udaipur City Palace Udaipur Trident, Udaipur
F5 Weddings hosted this wedding at five different venues with ultra-colourful European carnival, vintage mehendi, cute desi décor, sweet lehenga shots, and lots more bundled into one sweet wedding. Shreya and Saurabh’s wedding festivities exuded an imperial charm; the exquisitely-executed functions leaving guests delighted and mesmerized. With the impactful Udaipur architecture acting as a regal backdrop, the couple’s special moments were captured artfully.
There were five venues selected in Udaipur, Jagmandir Island Palace, The Leela Palace, City Palace Udaipur, Trident Udaipur, and Chunda Palace.
The Welcome was all royal. Groom’s side arrived with swag in a chartered plane. They were received at the airport with a lot of desi swag, Arti tika, garlands, and petal shower. And for the guests, they all travelled by boats to their hotels. Nagadas, Tutari, lavasma, and dhol were playing too.
Evening one was the MEHENDI at the lawn of The Leela Palace, Udaipur
It was an intimate ceremony with only close family and friends. Vintage was the theme with wooden arch cloth draping and plenty of installations like a typewriter, painted bottles, mason jars and vintage trunks all over the venue. Dream catchers of various shades were hung. The photo booth was the highlight with white fur backdrop and many gold frames with plenty of props along with a vintage couch. The couple seating was a white swing with the customised cushions and bolsters. The trees in the lawn were decked up with the couple’s pictures and fairy lights. Tables had floral overlays with floral chair tie backs. On each table, there were the couple's pictures and wood log with glass jars, tea light, and floral arrangement.
Day two Luncheon at the International Carnival Themed SS Wonderland – Trident Lawn
As the theme suggests, this was a fun and vibrant event. The function had tons of entertainment. Jugglers, unicyclist, mechanical bull riding, limbo dance game, street musician, live size Jenga, huge polar bear, giant twister setup, candy girls, salsa workshop, helium gas balloons for wish activity casino setup, dart game, and many more. For the entrance arch, they had created a tunnel with ribbon hangings and carnival backdrop. For the venue décor, they had a couple posters in Game of Thrones theme. Round tables with floral overlays, white tiffany chairs, and colourful tie backs. Painted pineapples and flamingos as centrepieces with international printed themed sofa were placed aesthetically. A carnival feel wall was created to cover the area with floral. Colourful Spanish bunting and other hanging props from trees were created. They had a stunning photo booth created with the word AMOR.
The second day evening had the Grand Sangeet at the Zenana Mahal
The Sangeet was a grand affair with gold and glitter for glamorous touches. Red carpet entry with candle walls and a huge cut out of FOREVER with mirror effect and purple sofa sets with gold tiffany chairs and lots of candles as centrepieces, this event looked enchantingly beautiful. A huge installation of their love storybook was placed artistically. Energetic performances of couples and families all added up to make it a night to remember.
Same evening was an After Party with a Funky Theme at the Chunda Palace
Welcome to Club Mechu, coz that is the club where it all started for the couple. This was a party for the entire young crowd. Beer pong games, flip-flops for aching feet, smart party kits, the personalised menu at the bar and SS stamp upon entry with bouncers, this was a night which would see no daylight. DJ console was designed in a pop art theme.
The third day was Haldi at the Shiv Niwas Lawn in City Palace
The haldi and bhaat ceremony was called Dhaani Ki Dhoom and the theme was Rajasthan. The open lawn was decorated in attractive Rajasthani elements like parasols, carts, colourful tents, and marigold strings and hangings. There were performers from the region entertaining guests.
The Jaimala at the Jagmandir Courtyard
As soon as the baraat entered with dhol Shreya’s family arrived to receive Shreyas as per the tradition. For this, the F5 team planned a unique entry for her where she adorned a 15-meter-long red ghungat trail and her cousins were showering petals all the way. To create an ethereal aura for this ceremony, they arranged for 11 Ganga pundits for the chanting. There were 12 dancers at each window of the courtyard and when the couple went up for the varmala exchange they set off 150 cold pyros for that magical sensation.
The Reception in a Maharaja Theme at the Royal & Regal Jagmandir Lawns
A grand stage was set up with rose backdrop and flower pastings on all sides along with chandeliers in arches. There were floral arrangements alongside the couple's seating as well. A special lounge seating towards the stage in theatre style was set. A huge installation of RAABTA cut out with bulbs and floral was placed. Sajjangoth (seating for the groom’s family) looked regal with chandeliers and floral hangings. Shreya and Sourabh made a special entry with 22 well-choreographed dancers.
The Wedding at the Leela Palace Courtyard
The wedding was a mid-night regal affair indeed! The whole venue was gorgeously lit in gold with votive candles all around the water body. After the rituals were done, guests got to watch a breath-taking fireworks display, with the bride and the groom greeting them, on a beautiful baroque balcony at the venue.
