The Gourmet Entertainment Show EEMA EVENTFAQS Touchwood Group A-Dot By GNH
A joint initiative of Touchwood Group and EVENTFAQS Media in association with EEMA, Gourmet Entertainment Show 2019 delivered its 2nd Edition on August 1st and 2nd, 2019 at A-Dot By GNH, Ambience Drive, Gurugram. The Gourmet Entertainment Show is a platform created to take forward the culinary journey of celebrations in India on to a world stage.
This two-day event was designed to enable consumers and planners of the most extraordinary events to push the envelope by engaging with and learning from the best in the business of Gourmet Entertainment was hosted by Manish Sharma. Featuring the showcase from close to 30+ of India’s top Hotels, Catering Companies, Decor Specialists, Restaurants and Food Designers, the 2nd edition of GES changed the way India thinks of ‘Entertaining with Food at Events’. The event started with a welcome address by Sanjoy Roy, President, EEMA on behalf of EEMA, NEC and NAC.
With an aim to collaborate, this year Gourmet Entertainment Show had widened its horizon and opened up an opportunity for India’s leading wedding design houses to collaborate with prominent F&B service providers to present a well curated and integrated showcase of their brand. The show started with a beautiful opening act by Laadi Sangeet Maker, followed by soulful renders of Rajasthani and Sufi music by Barmer Bros and singer Amit Gupta.

The event also celebrated the legacy of Late Jiggs Kalra for his contribution to the F&B industry. The posthumous honour was received by his son and ace restauranteur Zorawar Kalra by Sabbas Joseph, Founder-Director, Wizcraft International.
The second honour was presented to the industry’s biggest disruptor, Priyank Sukhija for reinventing the business of entertaining with F&B.
Finally, it was announced that the third annual edition of GES is slated for June 2020 with a slew of smaller manifestations pan-India that will elevate how India thinks of food as the ultimate form of entertainment.
