Manufacturing technology maker Trumpf India collaborated with exhibition design specialists Blues N Coppers to build their exhibition booth at BLECH India 2019. Held at the Bombay Exhibition Center (BEC) in Mumbai between April 25th and April 27th, BLECH India 2019 was the 6th edition of the international trade show that displays state of the art sheet metal working technology.
Trumpf India is the Indian subsidiary of the Germany-based Trumpf Group. A 96-year old company, Trumpf specializes in the making of machine tools and laser technology used in industrial manufacturing. With 70 subsidiaries spread across the globe and a workforce comprising over 13,000 employees, Trumpf is ambitiously looking to expand its reach even further through exhibitions and trade events, of which BLECH India 2019 happened to be the most recent one.
To stand out from over 150 exhibitors from the manufacturing industry, Trumpf decided to partner with Blues N Coppers, known for going beyond booth designs and guiding clients on exhibition strategy and communication. Blues N Coppers has been known for its immersive and more-than-just-vanilla-designs approach to exhibition strategy, making it an obvious choice for some of the biggest Indian and international brands for exhibitions across the world.
The booth design at BLECH 2019, inspired by Trumpf’s branding principles, purported to portray the company’s standing as an international provider of cutting-edge technology. Using the brand colours and simple yet elegant design, the booth highlighted Trumpf’s products and capabilities effectively using a combination of live product demonstrations and digital displays.
Rohit Duseja from the Blues N Coppers team, describing their process for designing Trumpf’s booth, said, “The most important aspect of Trumpf's project was to understand and deliver a design based on their machine display and brand guidelines. It was also important that we factor in the limited setup time considering the overall size of the project.”
The end result was more than satisfactory as the Trumpf booth attracted and engaged a healthy number of interested visitors who got a taste of Trumpf’s global brand value as well as hands-on experience of their offerings.
