The 11th edition of WOW Awards and Convention Asia 2019, the region’s largest business & recognition platform for the Experiential Marketing, MICE, Live Entertainment & Wedding Industry is scheduled on 28th – 29th June, 2019 at Aerocity, New Delhi.

Group B also known as the Experiential Celebration group is all about the full series of functions, celebrations and ceremonies as part of a wedding, a milestone or any social event including all aspects of Entertainment, Décor, F&B etc. Also includes various aspects of weddings, celebratory and social events.

The jury members selected are from backgrounds that complement the experiential celebration category and their expertise will help decide the clear winner for the same. All the members are particularly very knowledged in the events category giving them an upper hand in deciding the most deserving winner. Since the jury members are from the luxury and lifestyle background, their experience in destination weddings and events is very beneficial for the judging process.

Director of Operations Luxe Hotels India & General Manager Delegate 

Pullman & Novotel, New Delhi Aerocity

He is widely known and regarded as an influential leader in the hospitality industry. Tristan, in his tenure of over 20 years with AccorHotels has been instrumental in globalization of AccorHotels operations in key locations in Europe, Middle East and Asia including Accor Indonesia, Novotel Peace Beijing –Accor China, Accor Denmark, Accor Thailand, and Novotel Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Airport. He previously worked in Dubai serving as Cluster General Manager for five AccorHotels. He has been recently appointed as the Director of Operations Luxe Hotels India, Accor Hotels. Tristan in his role as the General Manager Delegate was responsible for unveiling AccorHotels flagship project, Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity.


Director of Sales, Marketing & PR

With over 17 years in the Middle Eastern, Asian and European industry, Anna Olsen is a key player in strategic partnerships and efforts to further promote the Emirates Palace’s pre-eminence as a MICE and leisure destination. Along with great leadership skills, an influential network from over five years in the region and significant business acumen, she delivers on key financial and market positioning objectives as the Director of Sales, Marketing & PR of the hotel.


General Manager

Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Mumbai

Sharad brings with him rich experience of working with luxury hotels for 22 years. Sharad began his career as an Assistant Manager with Oberoi Towers and The Oberoi Mumbai in 1995 and later moved to work at The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata in 2000. In 2004, Sharad returned to Mumbai as Hotel Manager at Hilton Towers. In 2007, Sharad was appointed as the General Manager of Trident in Chennai and in 2012, he was appointed as the pre-opening General Manager of Trident in Hyderabad. After completing a five-year stint as the General Manager with Trident in Hyderabad, the decisive critical thinker with significant leadership skills – Sharad, is now a part of the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu family where he along with the team are committed towards personalized guest experiences.


Regional Director of Marketing

MEASA for Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts

Shaf Butt is currently Regional Director of Marketing for Dubai & MEASA for Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts. Shaf, a British national, has been with the Jumeirah Group since October 2007. Shaf has led the central function for all of Jumeirah's Dubai Hotels and has a proven track record in setting up and managing high performing marketing teams with the aim of delivering successful ROI campaigns for the Jumeirah Hotels. Shaf is now a senior level director of marketing at Jumeirah Hotels now overseeing the MEASA region covering 15 hotels and has played an extensive role in Jumeirah’s growth as an international brand, seeing the marketing team develop into a leading force in the region and helping the Jumeirah brand deliver award winning campaigns.

She started her career in the travel industry as a journalist with the Indian Express. In 2011 she founded Avant Garde Consulting which promoted a kaleidoscope of discerning travel brands such as Chamonix Mont-Blanc and the Private Collection of Portugal besides other luxury travel brand entities. In her current role as Director Atout France India, she looks forward to forging ahead with successful associations between France as a leading travel destination of choice for the discerning traveller and befitting luxury players, influencers, travel professionals and media personalities to further strengthen the ties between travel, art de vivre and the luxe space which are more amalgamated now than ever before.

Founder and CEO of luxury destination wedding brand and wedding media company Guides for Brides. A highly respected wedding influencer, Alison has more than 25 years of experience in the wedding and social events industry, working with wedding suppliers and consumers. Her articles have been published in numerous books, wedding magazines and on popular wedding blogs.




Dinesh joined his wife Minal Vazirani in developing Saffronart in 2000, after taking a sabbatical from his family businesses, WMI cranes and WMI power. Saffronart has become a leading global corporation committed to the arts and a proponent of Indian art internationally by developing a series of critically-acclaimed exhibitions, events and auctions, that provide buyers with a transparent, professional environment in which to transact.

With a career spanning over two decades, Lubaina plays to her strengths, the in-depth knowledge & intricacies of the outbound travel market in destination positioning that would bring in long term benefits. She has garnered her hard-won experience by successfully launching and revitalizing destinations and brands in the Indian market. Lubaina has led and inspired her team on multiple projects and mentored the careers and lives of several professionals. A prominent and known face in the Indian tourism industry, Lubaina has delivered significant speaker notes and insights about the trends and future of the Indian travel and tourism market at industry forums.

With an MBA in Sales and Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Kadambini is with the Marriot International for over a decade. Currently she is the Senior Area Director Sales & Distribution South Asia.

Pearl Luxe Experiences

A 10 year career in marketing, public relations, developmental work and a stint in television media. She is the founder of Pearl Luxe, an experiential luxury travel consultancy, which she began in 2008, which has since been acquired by a US based consortium in 2018. Her latest start-up in the experiential space, “Encompass” offers unique, authentic and luxurious group experiences for the mind, body and soul.


Head – Marketing

House of Anita Dongre

A dynamic and motivated marketing professional who has covered varied segments in the fashion and lifestyle space. He currently heads the Marketing Function for AND & Global Desi at the House of Anita Dongre, contributing to growth drivers through a consumer centric approach. He was earlier spearheading the brand Grassroot and was responsible for the setup of the Flagship Anita Dongre and Grassroot store in New York. He has over 12 years of 360 marketing and brand management experience across companies like Tanishq under The Titan Company Limited, World Gold Council, and Raymond Limited. Vaibhav has rich experience in the fields of Retail Marketing, Content, Media, Brand Development - Identity and Architecture, Events and Digital.
