A for Pineapple Legrand

“Second time’s a charm”. And this was the second time when Legrand India partnered with A For Pineapple for their most important business event of the year.

AFP themed the event as ‘Connectival 2019’ since the event was about launches in the connected devices segment and connecting Legrand with its Partners. Two key locations in Hong Kong were recommended for this event because the city represents technology and the future.

400 Legrand partners flew to Hong Kong to attend this mega show. On Day 1 of the event, the first key location was about the Internet of things and to compliment that A For Pineapple created elements that made the audience experience a future that they never imagined before. SKY 100, the tallest building in HK with a panoramic 360-degree view of the city was selected for the launch. The journey to a futuristic world began right at the entrance. Guests were given RFID tags and as they entered the venue, a large screen welcomed each one of them with personalized messages. A 3D projection on a modern sculpture ornamented the entrance. An LED time tunnel led the guest to the Hong Kong’s fastest double-decked high-speed elevators that took them to 100th floor in just 60 seconds. Tech Guru Rajiv Makhni, web-hosted the evening live. By the end of the evening, the event was trending at No. 1 spot on Twitter.

Annu Anand, Chief Catalyst & Managing Director, A For Pineapple said, “Our biggest challenge was the shape of the venue. Normally events are organized in spaces without pillars but Sky 100 only had space on the edges of the four corners. So we came up with an ‘L’ shaped set-up with audience seating in the right angles and a stage in the center comprising of Five Led screens for content display. It was a visual delight where the guests could enjoy the best view of the HK city and attend the launch program.”

For the conference and second key location, A For Pineapple booked the largest ballroom in Hong Kong. The pre-function area showcased the three Era’s from 80’s, 90’s & 2000 that displayed the lack of evolution of household devices and the answer to that was the product of today, ‘Lyncus’. The stage design and a larger than life “V” shaped screen was inspired by the ‘pinch-of-the-nose’ of Lyncus. 

The Gala Night was branded as Nuvo beats, named after a flagship Speakers by Legrand. Amidst an elaborate and Full LED décor, Bollywood singing sensation Shalmali Kholgade performed for the elite guests.

Through custom-designing each activity based on product brief, AFP connected the elite group of Partners with Legrand’s new-age products.

Legrand India partnered with A For Pineapple for the second time to launch their most important business event of the year - ‘Connectival 2019’.
