GSK’s All India Distributors Meet took place from April, 7th to 10th 2019, in Goa. Around 600 GSK distributors and employees from all over the country came together to celebrate their long-lasting and successful partnership. The event was conceptualized, planned and executed by Brandwidth Events.



GSK entrusted in Brandwidth Events yet again after the successful conclusion of Race to the stars 2.0 & Mid-year celebration to take it to a higher level with Race to the stars 3.0 Grand celebration 2019. Brandwidth’s travel partner Adiona Travels brought down guests from over 100+ cities and small towns like Bhishampur, Dhule, Dhubri, etc. to Goa.

“With more than 600 distributors and GSK employees coming together from different parts of the country, it was a tough task to coordinate their travel and stay. Guests from towns with no connectivity of even buses were taken care of. In the short span of time, all possible modes of transportation, from cabs to buses, trains to flights were arranged to pull this off. Arrangements of overnight stays were made as well and there on transfers to airports to get them to the Hubs for seamless connectivity to this grand event.” said Pawan Kharb, Co-Founder, Adiona Travels. On Day 1, guests arrived and checked in at Grand Hyatt & Alila Diwa. At the registration, each guest was given their personalized welcome kit.


The guests celebrated in a Fully Filmy style at the welcome dinner held at the lawns of Grand Hyatt. Guests staying in Alila Diwa travelled to Grand Hyatt for the Fully filmy night. Keeping in mind the destination and the theme, the set up was inspired by Indian cinema. The entire lawn was given a complete makeover to bring out the Indian cinema look and feel. From a thematic entry gate created out of iconic movie posters, and a red carpet entrance to make each guest feel no less than a superstar themselves, to recreating movie sets from famous movies like Sholay, 3 idiots, PK, Bahubali and Petta, and lots of filmy props for guests to use and wear, the guests were seen having a lot fun.

The evening began with the GSK ILT team coming up on stage dressed up as an iconic movie characters representing their respective zones like South Head as Rajnikanth from the famous movie Kaala, West head as Salman Khan from Dabangg and North head as Shahrukh Khan from DDLJ and to conclude the lineup, the GSK Sales Director, Sanjeev Khanna as Amitabh Bachchan from the movie Sarkar. This was elevated with lots of dance, singing and acting engagements conducted by the MC and a hysterical stand-up performance by the winner of Comicstaan - Nishant Suri. It all came to an end with the distributors and GSK team sharing a laugh and DJ getting the guests tapping their feet.

After a tremendous start, Day 2 comprised of the reward and recognition ceremony. A checkered backdrop, with a red-carpet welcome, made the guests feel like winners. In lit cubes and Proud To Be GSK installation added to the décor of the pre-function area. A classy GSK magazine booth was set up to engage the guests in the Pre-Function area.

Astounding the guests with a larger than life stage set up, the evening began with a welcome note by Managing Director of GSK, Navneet Saluja, followed by Sales Director, Sanjeev Khanna addressing and motivating the guests with the specially curated and designed theme AV.


Later in the evening, the 600 distributors and field force were awarded for their year-round performance and support. In between the awards, multiple sizzling performances by a Russian artist group brought alive the night with various international dance forms. The night ended with guests dancing to the popular tunes from all over India played by the DJ.

The large crowd in front of all the photo engagements at the fully filmy night, the loud cheers at the award function and the feedback we got from the guests are all proof of the success of the event”

The third day was planned with the aim to let the guests relax and unwind. The guests were taken to Baga beach and Colva beach according to their stay in their respective hotels, where they explored the waters sports with beer & food. All the guests enjoyed the beach day out and appreciated the effort, followed by Delt-In Royale in the evening, where they tried their hands and luck in the casino.  

The Project lead for the event, Tanya Mehra, Manager - Client Servicing at Brandwidth, said, “It was very important for Team Brandwidth to make it a class apart affair for the client who has shown tremendous faith in us. After executing so many shows in the past, the pressure was even more and our focus was one thing - How to make this project, this year, even better? Planning was crucial as we knew that managing an event for 600 people from across the country, along with their logistics had a lot of room for errors. But the team pulled up their socks and executed the event flawlessly.”
