The wedding celebrations began on 20th Jan with a power-packed youngster party at Suryagarh Hotel Jaisalmer. The theme of the event was The Thar dinner and Wedniksha immaculately looked after all the arrangements according to the theme. The Thar dinner is a tradition that people follow to pay homage to the culinary traditions of travellers who crossed the Thar to Jaisalmer. The decor was perfect with starry skies, tasselled canopies and mattress style seating to give the guests a comfortable feel and allow them to enjoy their dinner to the fullest. The highlight of the evening was the European Fire act which added an extra oomph factor to the evening.

On the next day which was January 21st, a Royal Welcome Lunch was arranged at Jaisalmer Kitchen, Marriott Resort and Spa; it being a day event, the theme was warm and colourful. The entire restaurant was decorated with colourful overlays and kites as table mats. To give a traditional feel, antique golden Roman Pots with golden bamboo sticks and kites were used as props along with the traditional Manja to make a colourful arrangement. To give guests an authentic Rajasthani experience, local musicians played traditional music which kept the guests enthralled.

A royal Rajput wedding is incomplete without the Sangeet party. In the evening at Oasis Courtyard a grand sangeet ceremony was organized and the theme of the event was shimmer to give a glamorous look to the venue. Wedniksha created two custom mirror chip bars and every element used had a shimmer and bling touch to it. There was a mirror chip photo booth installed at the venue to give a picture zone to the guests. The entire dance floor was covered with silver streamers and disco balls of various sizes. The stage was custom made with royal blue drapes, mirror acrylic frames and disco balls. The centrepieces were made with crystal hangings with glass pinch bowls with LED rice lights. Also, the cocktail table had tiny mirror balls with custom mirror chip base.

The next morning was the Haldi ceremony that was decked up in a Yellow and Gold theme. In keeping with Rajasthani tradition, Wedniksha designed a beautiful bridal backdrop in Gota Patti work that looked vibrant. The ceremony was boosted with DJ Music while the wedding bartenders mixed some mind-blowing cocktails.

The wedding was in Gold and red theme to give a royal tradition feel. The Vidhi mandap was set up in the centre of Oasis courtyard. The whole venue was decked up with Candles on large Jyotideeps covering the entire venue with candelabras, shamadans and diyas. The existing water bodies made the setup look all the more royal. During the Jaimala ceremony, a breathtaking fireworks show was executed giving a perfect end to the event.

The wedding celebrations began on January 20th and continued till January 22nd in Rajasthan.
