Thanks to all the luxury and opulence, Dubai has become a hot favourite destination for weddings. From sandy beaches to the sparkling ballrooms, dessert ceremonies to cool blue “I Do’s”, and grand celebrations to simple affairs, wedding venues in Dubai ensure every couple the perfect place to celebrate the joy of togetherness and love.
Jayesh and Harsha tied the knot a few days ago at Atlantis, The Palm Dubai. This was the first wedding of the North East of India which took place in Dubai. The wedding planners made sure to make the wedding a starry event that people can cherish forever and enjoy this three-day saga like never before.

All the 425 guests were welcomed at Atlantis, The palm – a majestic 5 star Dubai hotel situated at the Palm, a man-made island that has captured the world’s imagination with its magnificent scale and ingenuity. The wedding celebrations began with a grand welcome night at the Nasimi Beach and Deck offering view of the gorgeous Dubai skyline. The decor was done in white, complementing the ambience of Nasimi beach full of white sun beds and cabanas. The witty and spontaneous Emcee Sonam C Chhabra welcomed and performances such as water flyboard and Bollywood singers Sukriti and Prakriti Kakkar kept the guests entertained followed by a crazy youngsters’ night in the end which continued till wee hours in the morning.

The second day saw a brunch party merged with the ring ceremony at the biggest yacht of UAE, the Lotus yacht. The yacht was decorated in an English wedding ceremony theme full of ornate flowers and elegant pastels. The couple exchanged rings with the stunning skyline in the background. The yacht party had complete Indian as well Italian cuisine catering. The Sangeet night was held at the Atlantis ballroom. The decoration of the ballroom was larger than life just like the venue. Post some fun filled family performances, Benny Dayal’s act kept the audience entertained through the evening. Atlantis, being one of the most famous properties in Dubai came with a few challenges but the planners were quite successful in making them agree to make Indian cuisine, convincing baraat and performing wedding at Royal tower beach – a private property.

The Varmala and pheras took place at the Royal Tower beach. The stunning venue was given out for a wedding for the very first time since the inception of the hotel – making this the ‘first ever’ moment for the property.
After the traditional Varmala it was time to jazz up things a little for the Gala Dinner- Reception. The whole setup was elegantly done with modern furnishing such as Oval tables, half-moon tables and rectangular ones which added a royal feel to every corner.
The grandeur was extended when everybody witnessed a grand “Vidaai” with an exotic farewell lunch at Burj-Al-Arab which was difficult as they don’t allow all outside guests but somehow it was all managed with such ease.

The family members made sure to make everyone and everything about the #JH Wedding by gifting their guest’s bottles of customized perfumes as a wedding favour. The most eye-catchy element at the wedding was these gorgeous bottles with their wedding logo engraved on it.
From really thoughtful and cute wedding favours and hampers, to absolutely adorable decor, the wedding had many things that will stay forever memorable for the guests and the wedding parties!
"The USP of the wedding were the ring ceremony at The Lotus Lounge at Palm Jumeirah with full service, the 1st time venue for a wedding - The Royal Beach with the background frame of Atlantis and finally icing on the cake was the farewell or Bidai of the Bride and the Guests from The Burj Al Arab" says Vijay Bokadia.
