3rd Edition of Couture India Features Awards, Exhibits & More Managed to Perfection by Think XQ

Couture India, a luxury business boutique show was managed successfully by Think XQ for the third year running since its inception in 2016. An initiative by the Indian Jeweller Magazine (IJ), Couture India is one of a kind exhibition that brings together some of the most exclusive names in the jewellery business from around the country. A three day event, held at Taj diplomatic Enclave, New Delhi from September 29th to October 1st, 2018, featured an elite community of renowned heritage brands, emerging design talent and the finest retailers from around the nation.

A new addition of the event format this year was the introduction of India’s Coolest Store awards by (IJ). These were the very first awards function which brought forth the unique ‘cool’ features of jewellery stores from across the country and awarded them for their coolness quotient that made them unique.

With a detailed selection process and an esteemed Jury that selected the Nominations and the awardees, the first night of Couture India was brought to fruition with great vigour. An exciting evening for those present, these awards were seamlessly executed by the team of Think XQ, starting with a cool fusion dance performance and going straight into the nominations AVs and the awards. Conducted by emcee Pallavi Walia Raj, former Mrs. Universe India, the trophies were awarded to the runners up and winners by the celebrity guest Bollywood Actress Karishma Kapoor.


The exhibition area this time around, was increased to add a bespoke diamond segment, which added to the sparkle of the displays. The display area in turn, was created with the concept to replicate a jewellery store. Fashion models walked around the exhibition hall donning some of the most premier offerings of the participating brands, which brought alive the entire cocktail hour in the evening of day two.

The day two also witnessed panel discussions and a seminar, also called the Knowledge Forum, which saw some of the most renowned names in the Jewellery business debating on the ongoing trends of the industry.

The biggest highlight of the networking evening on day 2 was the serenic Sufi night, created to perfection with the modern touch. The much loved stand up comic, Anshu Mor opened the evening with his act followed by a soulful performance by the band When Chai Met Toast. With a lovely seating set up with sofas, and a beautiful performance backdrop created with lights against the lush garden, the evening was the perfect setting of enchanting ambience and a lot of fun.
