53rd FHRAI Annual Convention Curated by Vibgyor

Federation of Hotels & Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI) is the apex body of the Indian hospitality industry representing hotels, restaurants and associates, spanning the length and breadth of our vast country. The 53rd FHRAI Annual Convention was held at the Ramada Lucknow Hotel and Convention Centre from September 20 - 22, 2018. Vibgyor Brand Services was chosen as the official event partner for the three-day event, after a multi-agency pitch.

Vibgyor conceptualized the unconventional theme “Look WithINDIA” for the annual event. It translates the thought of looking within the land of spiritual and wellness capital-INDIA, and exploring the endless possibilities it has to offer not just for the tourists but for the countrymen and be proud of it.

The Annual Convention offered an excellent opportunity for the delegates from across the country to network with top policy makers, captains of industry, top-notch entrepreneurs, global experts and distinguished representatives from civil society. The convention aimed to serve as a platform to showcase the contemporary trends, cutting-edge technologies and international best practices in the rapidly growing hospitality Industry. Around 1200 delegates from India and abroad attended this Convention, which included prominent hoteliers and all major stakeholders from the Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

Day One started with Shri Yogi Adityanath, Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, inaugurating the most sought-after event in the hospitality industry, followed by the launch of the Hospitality Expo. In the evening the guests witnessed a spectacular Manganiyar performance, followed by “Incredible India” themed dinner.  Day 2 began with a ministerial session by Alphonse Kannanthanam, Minister of State for Tourism, GOI, followed by interesting business sessions by other delegates.

The final day was packed with interactive stand-alone sessions and special sessions, followed by the prestigious FHRAI Hospitality Awards presided over by Garish Oberoi, President, FHRAI and conferred by Dinesh Sharma, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The thought-provoking 53rd annual FHRAI convention came to an end with Sham e Awadh-an evening extraordinaire, with an exhilarating performance by Bollywood playback singer Shibani Kashyap.
