AT&T Employees Enjoy Olympiad Annual Sporting Event Crafted by Senses Creations

Olympiad, an annual sports event for AT&T employees was organised on the Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the XLR8 Sports Arena. The event was executed by Senses Creations. The day-long event saw more than 600 AT&T employees participating.
To create the excitement and hype for the event amongst the employees, the AT&T office campus was decked up with sports day related décor such as photo op, danglers and sports utility items, a month prior to the event. To add up spice to the occasion Senses Creations also organised a session with Blind-Fold artist for the employees as AT&T in-house event coordinating team wanted an out-of-the-box sort of pre-event experience for the employees instead of a conventional one.
The games were planned in such a way that every type of attendee would be entertained, and it was divided into four categories. The team registrations for the main games, that is, indoor cricket, indoor football, and volleyball were taken prior to the event. A maximum of 16 teams for each game were shortlisted for the main day. Teams could register for the other games, like Throwball, Basketball, Kho Kho, Kabaddi and Tug-Of-War on the day of the event. Other activities that were in-store for employees included Badminton, wall climbing and board games, such as chess, carom and table tennis. A few carnival games and back-to-school games like lemon and spoon race, sack race and tyre race were also set-ups for attendees who were looking for something light-hearted.
The event day began with registration, breakfast, and briefing of the pre-registered games. This was followed by the commencement of games in the indoor arena, the badminton court and at the carnival area. The games paused for the lunch session post which the next set of games in the indoor arena began. In all, throughout the day, the attendees enjoyed a wide array of sports.
The event was concluded by felicitation of trophies and medals and a round of high-tea before the participants headed back home. The Senses Creations team was well appreciated by the AT&T’s internal events team for the organisational, coordination and planning skills. Sanidhi, director of Senses Creations said, “At the end of the day, all that mattered to us were the happy faces of the attendees”.
