India’s First Global Mobility Showcase Put into Motion by Showtime Events

To showcase innovation and build a platform to shape the future of mobility, NITI Aayog hosted MOVE, the first Global Mobility Summit in New Delhi on September 7 & 8, 2018. Stakeholders from across the sectors of mobility and transportation in India and across the world gathered to co-create a public interest framework to revolutionize transport in the future at the conclave.
Alongside the dialogues and sessions by the industry pioneers, a digital showcase of their latest inventions, ideas and methodologies of the future, was planned at the Vigyan Bhawan which was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi on the opening day of the Summit. This digital exhibition; conceptualised, designed and executed by Showtime Events, was divided into 5 Zones.
1- The Roadmap to Mobility – a cutting-edge experiential technology zone that allowed guests to view, interact with, and understand some of the smart mobility solutions of the future provided by the partners via a Smart VR Interactive Table, A Rotoscope Automated Screen and much more.
2- The Partner Interaction Zone – where the Partners of the Global Summit, namely - Tata Motors, Hero Cycles, Hero MotoCorp, Hyundai, Mahindra Electric, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Toyota, Ola, Soft Bank - had a dedicated personal space to interact with the dignitaries and guests attending the Summit along with the ability to visually demonstrate their solutions for future mobility.
3- Mobility Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow – a 360 degree immersive wrap-around projection box that submerged the guests in the history of mobility told through a compelling film – from a fascinating past, and the remarkable progress of the present, to an innovation and technology-driven future - a future powered by zero-emission, electric and bio-fuels in a smart and connected mobility environment.
4- India Already on the Fast Track - brought alive a number of future mobility initiatives in various stages of adoption across our country via interactive pods and energy grid installation.
5- Touch the Future- This was an outdoor exhibition with actual physical displays of the prototypes and models of the vehicles of the future.

Going forward, India seems destined to play a major role in shaping the Global Mobility Paradigm and the Move Summit India was in many ways, just the starting point of the mobility revolution.
