Honor Play Media And Fan Launch Organised By Vibgyor

Honor, the online sub-brand of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei, launched the Honor Play in India at JW Marriott, New Delhi on August 6, 2018, in the presence of the press, social media bloggers, and its fan community. The event was also live-streamed for tech bloggers and pan-India media personnel.

The phone was first unveiled in China last month. It is with this smartphone that Honor has introduced the GPU Turbo technology, with which the company claims to improve phone’s graphic performance without compromising on the processor’s efficiency. Honor connected with Vibgyor yet again, to conceptualise the entire launch. Right from the Hotel booking, coordination, MICE, invites, registration, product presentation, event set-up, demo zones and giveaways, all aspects of the event were managed by Vibgyor.

The event kicked off with a brand presentation by Suhail Tariq CMO Huawei Consumer Business Group, followed by product presentation by Clinton Jeff Senior Marketing Lead, Honor. The smartphone was then unveiled via a stunning demo zone, that displayed each unique feature of the phone through interactive walls and zones.

A digital gaming zone was created with the most engaging game-PUBG, to highlight the gaming features of the phone. Also, a digital wall was installed to showcase the Kirin 970 SoC AI Dual Chipset features of the phone. The highlight of the demo zone was the center wall, which had unique digital content playing on the screen, to showcase the GPU Turbo feature of Honor Play. Bloggers and Fans flocked in groups to get pictures clicked with the GPU Turbo wall. The launch was a major success, with #honorplay trending on all social media platforms.
