Taj Jai Mahal F5 Weddings
F5 Weddings planned and executed a memorable wedding for the gorgeous couple Tushaar and Garima at the Taj Jai Mahal Palace recently. The couple have known each other through common friends. Tushaar’s avant-garde proposal in Toronto’s shopping arena was well coordinated with their friends. And after a year of the proposal they decided to tie the knot!
Despite the distance from their homes back in Toronto, Canada, Tushaar, and Garima were attached to the idea of a palatial wedding in their motherland. They are quintessential NRI's who have resided out of India for most of their lives and wanted to come back to their roots for the wedding. Tushaar and Garima wanted a venue which would give their guests an experience of Indian ethos. And what better than Rajasthan which is abundant in a culture that evokes Indian traditions. From a royal Rajasthan theme to a fairytale setting, Tushaar and Garima’s lavish destination wedding in Jaipur’s Taj Jai Mahal Palace was high on personal touches and so the festivities commenced.
Welcome Dinner:
A small welcome dinner was organised for the couple and their immediate families. Garima applied Mehendi while the families had a great time dancing away. The décor was kept minimalistic, enhancing the simplistic personality of the families.
Day 1
The festivities commenced with a Rajasthani Mela themed Mehendi ceremony. Bubblegum hues were used for the Rajasthani themed décor with hangings, marigolds, puppets and a photo booth which had an ornamented cycle and Rajasthani umbrellas. An installation of the couple’s initials looked outstanding. There were a lot of fun activities for the guests like kite flying, balloon shooting, live lac bangle maker. Towards the end, all guests released wishing balloons.
Sangeet (Sufi Night)
The evening was followed by Sufi Night which was a grand fusion of essences of elegance and vibrancy. Inspired by Moroccan nights, this one had so many amazing things embedded in it. The deep celestial blue conjured up visions of royalty. The entrance pathway had life-size Sufi lamps and the décor included lots of mirror hangings and candle wall hanging for the stage and also lanterns as centrepieces.
Day 2- Baraat and Wedding
The wedding mandap had a massive ornate chandelier in the center, rich peach drapes decorated with lots of fresh white and pink flowers lining the aisle leading to the mandap. The entire garden of the palace was filled with beautiful floral arrangements and huge white Roman pots with stunning flower work and pearls. Guests seating across the mandap had phera information cards and flower cones attached to it. All the baraatis were wearing customized wayfarers which had the couple hashtag (#Tushima). The baraat gave a typical Punjabi feel with a large number of dholwalas present. Tushaar entered with panache on an elephant while Garima looked stunning as she walked down the aisle with her parents.
Reception
Tushaar and Garima entered the lawn of the palace under the tunnel of cold pyros. The highlight was having the city view as the backdrop of the head table arrangement. There were toasts made to the bride and groom, Tushaar and Garima did a couple dance and there were funny and memorable moments shared between the families and friends.
From a royal Rajasthan theme to a fairytale setting, Tushaar and Garima’s lavish destination wedding in Jaipur’s Taj Jai Mahal Palace was high on personal touches.
