Percept ICE, the Events and Special Projects company of Percept Limited, bagged the remarkable mandate of conceptualiing and executing the mega ‘Grand Rummy Championship’ event held on May 18-19, 2018 at The Lalit Spa and Resort, Goa. Hosted by RummyCircle.com, the gala and highly contested event saw 204 Rummy Champions from across India vie for the coveted Championship title and a prize pool of Rs. 70 Lakh.
This innovative ‘Grand Rummy Championship’ live tournament saw talented players from across the country participate in a series of online weekly tournaments on RummyCircle.com with the leading players finally joining in for the Grand Finale in Goa. The two-day finale in Goa saw players battle it out vigorously with each other over 6 fast-paced rounds with each round becoming more challenging than the previous.
From the total prize pool of Rs.70 lakh, the live tournament winner was eligible for the top bonanza prize of Rs.20 lakh.
Percept ICE’s scope of work included conceptualising, managing and executing the first ever Rummy Championship event in tandem with a host of fun and interactive activities that kept the players occupied and engaged over the 2 days at the Lalit Spa & Resort in Goa. Percept ICE managed the designing of the event, game & show management, artist coordination, dealer shortlisting, surveillance and security management, the transition between rounds, crowd management, branding, décor and overseeing the entire technical production of the event.
