Miss World Organization To Put Together Special Walk For World Menstrual Hygiene Day in Delhi

Miss World Manushi Chhillar, Miss World Chairperson Julia Morley, NDMC officials, 300 NDMC girl students and teachers, Roop Betala and the Aakar India and global teams will join Delhites to walk for awareness and to raise funds for Menstrual Health and Hygiene. The walk will start at 7.30 am from Central Park in Connaught Place till the entry of Pallika Bhawan of NDMC on Parliament Street.

The theme of the walk this year is “No More Limits” and keeping in line with the same, Miss World Manushi Chhillar, NDMC and AAKAR Innovations plan to empower girls through good menstrual hygiene to “Run Forever Fun Forever” along with Guinness Book of World Record holder Roop Betala.

Aakar has been celebrating the annual World Menstrual Hygiene Day since inception in Delhi, Mumbai and Gujarat. For 2016 and 2017, Aakar joined hands with NDMC, Govt. of Delhi and Sachchi Saheli to celebrate World MH Day in Delhi. Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar joining the campaign in 2018 has given it a new dimension. Manushi joined hands with Aakar Innovations during the Miss World Epic Humanitarian Tour in February with Miss World CEO and founder of Beauty With A Purpose, Julia Morley, as well as Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle and the 6 Miss World 2017 Continental winners. 

"No More Limits" is the theme set for the 5th Annual World Menstrual Hygiene Day on 28th May, Miss World Organization, NDMC and AAKAR Innovations Reiterate their commitment to provide " Freedom From Shame"
