When Aakash Bansal decided to get married to Shruti Todi, he had a specific vision of how his wedding affair would be like. Aakash was adamant about getting married in the serenity of Mahabaleshwar, a beautiful and peaceful hill station near Mumbai. When A More Entertainment took up this task, they knew they had to personify perfection.
A More Entertainment had less than a month to invite and get everything right for more than 250 guests. Hotel Le Meridian Mahabaleshwar was finalised as the perfect venue to hold this 3 day - celebration from February 5th to February 7th, 2018. Lavish coaches shuttled from Mumbai and Navi Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar, carrying all the guests in comfort and style. The guests were enamoured by the welcoming aura of Le Meridian, setting the mood for the rest of the festivities. A More Entertainment prides themselves on their minute attention to detail.
The event kicked off with Sangeet on the busy evening of February 5th, hosted by the enigmatic Himani Singh. The Bride and the Groom made their grand entry in an attractively decorated buggy escorted by beautifully choreographed dancers to the loud cheers of all the guests. The memorable performances from the families choreographed by Bollywood choreographer, Suchi Shah took the evening to another level. The guests finally got a chance to let their hair down after an exhausting evening in the after-party that followed the Sangeet in the lounge, Longitude 73, Le Meridian, Mahabaleshwar.
The next morning started with the ‘Family Bhaat’ function. At the same, the guests could unwind at the pool party with a foam pool and rain shower. The décor was in the hues of white and blue with a dash of yellow as the theme for the morning was nautical. The Gentlemen wore white and blue scarves while the ladies adorned the pearl necklaces provided to them.
The ‘Varmala’ ceremony at the Grand Steps was an absolute spectacle to behold. The Reception preceded the wedding that evening as the ‘Muhurat’ for the ‘Phere and Vidhi’ was a late night. The western décor, the serenity of Mahabaleshwar and the enticing sounds of the flute and saxophone by international artists made sure the guests felt warm and welcomed even in the cold temperatures of Mahabaleshwar. From walking under her absolutely gorgeous ‘phoolon ki chaadar’ to rose petals showering on her and the chandeliers floating above everyone, Shruti could not have asked for a dreamier wedding.
The bride and the groom’s big day ended up being a day to remember for everyone. A More Entertainment orchestrated this event to perfection without a doubt. This is what Sumit Parasrampuriya, Proprietor, A More Entertainment said, "When Aakash spoke to me about what he wanted, I knew instantly that anything less than perfect and he will be disappointed. This was the exact brief I gave to the team. Organising an event in a location like Mahabaleshwar is not an easy task but the look of admiration on everyone’s face makes me feel proud of my team. This event’s success is all down to my team and it would have been an impossible task without them. The Bansal’s and the Todi’s were the best clients to work with. Their warmth always made me feel like a part of their family."
Set amidst the beautiful hill station close to Mumbai, this destination wedding in Mahabaleshwar was everything filled with fun and dreamy moments!
