The Ananta Resorts Udaipur Momente Wedding Planners Rani Pink
Mohit Goyal owner of The Ananta Resorts, Udaipur, married Aditi Dolia at a glamorous, glitzy, and big fat Indian wedding at the same resort.

There was dancing, music, fun, and entertainment over the three days to keep the guests constantly entertained.

The Ananta, Udaipur was the perfect location for the celebrations with its banquet, lawn spaces, and an amphitheatre.

The festivities began with the guests being welcomed with upbeat dhol players, making everyone break into a dance and set the tone for the next few days. The guests were treated to soft notes of the Loh Tarang along with the sitar, flute, and tabla creating a soothing ambience as they proceeded for lunch. A themed wedding lounge was created, where guests could catch up for a game of cards or just talk over a cup of coffee between the events. Aditi and Mohit’s love story was depicted through a storyboard of life-size portraits displayed in the lounge.

The Dazzling Cocktail
The cocktail dinner was a dazzling night with the décor executed by Rani Pink. Tasselled silver candelabras, a ceiling full of silver sparkles blended with white flowers in silver vases on the tables along with Crystal Chiavari chairs decked up with beautiful white chair caps. A 12-piece symphony band welcomed the guests as they arrived at the ballroom. A glamorous champagne tower, nitrogen bar girls, LED Stilt walking butterflies and a strolling champagne princess was a few of the entertainment acts planned for the night. The couple made a dazzling entry with LED drummers followed with serenading by floating angels. A silver bar with themed props, funky signage and customised cocktails, a kaleidoscopic LED dance floor and the ever-energetic popstar Badshaah, ensured a rocking night.

A Vibrant Mehendi
The next day morning, the guests gathered together for the mehndi ceremony held in the lawns of the Ananta resorts. The garden area was decked up with a mix of gota ribbons and tassels adorning the trees while a sea of pink tassels hung from the ceiling of the main tent under which the performers’ stage was set up. White tables and sofas with bright pink cushions and gaddas added pops of colour to the lush green gardens. A beautiful white swing-laden with beautiful florals in white and pink, set up against a sparkling silver backdrop formed the seating area for the couple. Mehendi artists, parrot astrologers, live pottery making, block printing with blocks made of the couples logo amongst other designs and a trio of folk singers offering chana jor as they sang Bollywood classics – these were a few of the artists entertaining guests through the event. The couple walked in amidst beautiful clouds of colours as their friends formed an aisle holding smoke bombs and welcoming them. A group of dancers beautifully depicted Radha Krishna’s “Raas Leela” scene followed by “Phoolon Ki Holi” where the guests threw flower petals on each other. The popular acapella group “Raga Trippin” belted out some amazing renditions of Bollywood classics.

The Sufi Sangeet
The sangeet night was a beautiful Sufi themed affair with deep blues and red fabrics accentuated with deep red tinted chandeliers placed around the venue. A gorgeous dark blue canopy with the ceiling forming a patchwork of stunning floral chandeliers alternating with ferry lights created an ethereal effect. There were fantastic family performances, topped off by the groom who did a medley of his favourite actor Salman Khan. Along with the family performances, there was an aerial silk act and a visual light show to wow the crowd. The night rose to a crescendo with the performances of the energetic duo of Salim-Suleiman followed by the vivacious Janki Parikh.

The Picture Perfect Wedding
The wedding next day saw one of the most entertaining baraat processions with a mélange of east meets west, with Dhol, nagada, and tutari players along with a foreign brass band trio and a mobile DJ van. Mohit arrived in a decorated horse-drawn Victorian carriage while Aditi came seated in a palki, escorted by Shankh Pandits for the varmala. The varmala was a spectacular affair with a rose petal shower blessing the couple as they exchanged garlands. The wedding ceremony took place in the amphitheatre with a beautiful mandap decorated with rose-tipped mogra hangings and kalira chandeliers on the ceiling and Nandi prints on the backdrop. Red gaddas and cushions were placed for guest seating along the amphitheatre. The bride entered the mandap accompanied to the tunes of the famous flautist Baljinder Singh.
The reception area was decked up with a white canopy decorated with white malmal pankhis and crystal chandeliers. White tables with crystal candelabras and gold Chiavari chairs were laid out under the canopy. The energetic performance of Bryden and Parth coupled with the ever so graceful Sufi Swirlers, and Tanoura Dancers added an enigmatic charm to the event.
