Pooja and Rohan’s mystical yet rustic nuptials were a treat to the eyes. All thanks to AASH Studio for adorning the venue with such grace.

The bride was very particular about what she wanted for her wedding in terms of décor. She was wearing a deep green lehenga so she wanted the decor to compliment her look for her special day. Pooja, the bride wanted the sun to come through the mandap and didn’t want something that was much closed. She wanted the décor to be rustic and match all the trees that surrounded her on her special day.

“The colours we went for were white and peach with a hint of lavender to compliment her deep green lehenga. We created a box style mandap with 1000s of branches, for a rustic feel. And branches are something we love working with. It gave the top of the mandap a mystical feel from which we hung lanterns and you could see the beams of sun rays coming through. We kept the wedding personal by adding flower petal cones on all the chairs as well as a thank you note”, said Aashna Singh, Founder and Creative Director, AASH Studio.

There were large table arrangements with candelabras and hanging forals that continued to add the rustic wedding feel to the ambience.

An interesting part of this wedding was that it was called a silent wedding where they had called a Pandit from London to do the rituals for the wedding ceremony. The wedding was captured by the Wedding Filmer.

"Floral décor in a spectrum of shades of pink added an understated romantic touch, with the sunlight gleaming through the branches and seeing the happy couple we knew we had given them the wedding of their dreams”, concluded Aashna.

The wedding ceremony was hosted at the Tote on the Turf, Mahalaxmi Race Course on February 20, 2018.
