Manish Malhotra Fashion Show in Singapore Planned to Perfection by MEW

Manish Malhotra showcased a couture collection of his designer wear along with Kajal Fabiani, who showcased her designer jewellery at a fashion show in Singapore in March. The celebrated designer had never had a formal showcase in Singapore, so his close friends and associates, Shazreh and Shayan Rahman decided to host a fashion show, and engaged the who’s and who of Singapore.
Motwane Entertainment and Weddings who had been involved in planning and executing the Rahman’s 10-year anniversary celebrations in Zara Nurai Islands of Anu Dhabi were roped in to add their perfectionist planning and designing expertise to this event too.

The Fashion show took place in an unconventional and high-profile venue, Atlas Bar, which is a members-only bar in a private, office building in Singapore. The venue was selected because of its exclusive appeal and extreme high-end hospitality standards. The decor and the design for the ramp and set-up were created to imbibe the already chic settings of the venue.
The show featured a show stopper in Kareena Kapoor, and other celebrities like Amrita Arora and Kartik Aaryan also walked the ramp. Sophie Choudry kicked off the show with a performance of 2 popular songs. The engagement was spread over 3-days, the first being for fittings and trials, the next day was the main show and after party, and the third day featured a trunk show with Manish Malhotra and Kajal Fabiani.
The after party took place at 1880 at the Intercontinental where models, celebrities, the designers, the hosts and all their guests let their hair down, and had a great party!
Speaking about common expertise between such high-profile, lifestyle events, and social events planned by MEW, Aditya Motwane, explained, “Well for one, we’re an Entertainment and Wedding company! So it was quite nice to do a fashion show as a change to our regular high-profile social events. Also, the Rahmans trusted us with this since they knew of our expertise while planning their 10th anniversary. The aspects are so similar since even for this event, the hosts were clear that every person, from the celebrities to the models, to the event team and the guests, of course, were all personal friends and guests of the Rahmans. So from the hospitality and logistics and the experience, everything had to be handled like a high-class social event!
