WOW Awards Asia 2018: Presenting the Next Set of Jury Members of the Experiential Marketing Group

The countdown to Asia's largest recognition platform for excellence in the experiential industry ‘WOW Awards Asia 2018’ has official begun. The 10th edition of the awards this year is set to take place from June 28-30, 2018 at New Delhi Aerocity and will see honors being given away in 100 categories of experiential spanning across 5 groups. The five groups of categories are Experiential Marketing, Experiential Celebrations, Event Show Asia, Experiential Venues Awards, and LIVE Quotient Awards.

While you enter your best work in the event and experiential domain with the intent to take the coveted metal home, it’s time you meet the next set of jury members of the Experiential Marketing Group of WOW Awards Asia 2018.

Sanjeev Shukla is the Group Chief Marketing Officer of the Muthoot Pappachan Group and brings to the WOW Awards Asia 2018 Jury over 25 years of remarkable experience in the marketing domain. He has previously served as the custodian of brands like Hero MotoCorp, Ford, Hero Honda, Hyundai India, and others.

Sheena is a marketer with over 15 years of experience having held various leadership positions with Edelweiss Group and with Times Group for nearly 11 years across their media, real estate and financial services division.

She’s currently working with Edelweiss Group as VP Marketing, spearheading brand and marketing initiatives for corporate, institutional and most of the retail businesses. As a brand custodian, she manages Saina Nehwal and Irrfan Khan, brand ambassadors for Edelweiss and was instrumental in leading all the brand campaigns – including Edelweiss SME Loans with Irrfan, Olympics campaign as Principal Sponsors of Indian Olympic Team 2016 and brand campaigns with Saina. Edelweiss has won multiple marketing awards including, Best BFSI Brand By ET, Marketing Excellence in BFSI, Best Integrated Campaign for Olympics #iAmTeamIndia and Best Integrated Campaign for Union Budget 2016.

Bhushan has been has contributing to experiential marketing industry for over two decades. He has worked on more than 125 brands in his professional career. He started his career with Uncle Chipps and thereafter moved to Dr. Jain Video on Wheels, the pioneer in rural advertising in India. He worked with specialized rural agencies - Triton Rural Marketing and Linterland (rural agency of LOWE). Presently he is the in-charge of Below the Line Media for Mahindra & Mahindra Automotive Sector. His prior assignments for Reliance Communications, IL&FS and Dun & Bradstreet Information Services bring many learnings from various business verticals and marketing communication.

A passion for marketing translates to a passion for customers, and that’s what has made Akriti love her decade long journey in this realm across GE, Samsung and Google. Based in San Francisco, she currently leads Strategic Marketing programs for Google Cloud across North America. Specializing in B2B marketing and thriving in creating things from scratch, Akriti previously helped build the Google Cloud business in India as its Marketing Head, as well as facilitated setting up the Enterprise business for Samsung in India, as its Marketing & Strategy lead. She considers GE to be akin to an alma mater, as she started her career here and spent 7 years in various marketing roles. As Brand & Digital Marketing Leader for South Asia, Akriti launched GE’s first integrated ATL campaign, which also was among the pioneering content marketing initiatives in the region. Hailing from Mumbai, Akriti pursued her MBA from FMS Delhi. A voracious reader and avid traveler, she also loves tennis and listening to rock music.

Sahil Arora currently serves as Chief Marketing Manager at Marks and Spencer India and brings to the WOW Awards Asia 2018 Jury over 15 years of experience in advertising and marketing domain. In his professional career, Sahil has previously worked with brands like Allen Solly, Van Heusen, VF Arvind Brands, HT Media Indian Express and others.

Ankit Shah is the Head of Media at Ola Cabs and brings to the WOW Awards Asia 2018 Jury close to 15 years of experience in the brand marketing and communication domain.

Raman is a marketing professional with 13 years of experience in cards marketing, campaign management, media buying, digital marketing and strategic partnerships & alliances. He has strong domain knowledge with ability to provide creative and innovative marketing solutions. In his current profile at YES BANK, he leads Strategic Partnerships & Alliances, brand-led events, sponsorships and activations for North and East. Previously, he has also led national level community outreach program and business development initiatives with industrial organizations.

Shashank brings to the WOW Awards Asia 2018 Jury a total of 12 Years of work experience across Industries starting from Telecom, Consumer Durables, Tyres & Automobile. He started his corporate exposure in Sales to ensure that the basic principles of Sales Management are well Understood before he embarks upon his journey of Marketing Management.

Currently, Shashank is working with Bajaj Auto, where he joined Bajaj Auto as Senior Marketing Manager for Personal Biking for the International Business Division and after a successful stint, he is now looking after the commercial Segment comprising of world leading brands like ‘Boxer’, “Bajaj RE”, “Bajaj Maxima” and the new Baby “Bajaj Qute”.

Vilas is a Marketing professional with over 22 years of cross-discipline experience in Event Management, Advertising, Media & Entertainment space. Holds a degree in Electronics and Post-Graduation certification in Digital Marketing & Communications from MICA and UPGRAD.

He has created multiple IP based music festivals and has been involved in events since 2002 with a proven track record of executing over 600 large scale events and 100 plus product launches till date.

Currently spearheading National Event division at Herbalife International India Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore.

Mahesh is a marketing professional with varied experience in FMCG category from Personal Care to Foods & Beverages. Have handled marketing for iconic brands like No.1 McDowell’s Whisky with the UB Group, Huggies with Kimberly-Clark Lever, Kissan & Knorr for Unilever and Nutrine, Jumpin, Maha Lacto, Sofit & Hershey for Godrej Hershey Ltd. He currently serves as the Marketing Head for Carlsberg in Asia, and specialises Lead marketing and sales function, turnaround ailing brands or nurture, develop and grow nascent brands & categories.
