A Big Fat Punjabi Wedding Planned and Executed by Touchwood Group in Delhi!

If you talk about a Delhi Punjabi wedding, all you think about is the fun and excitement filled with the bhang beats and relishing food. The Bhatia wedding was one such! Planned and executed flawlessly by Touchwood Events, this wedding had everything special for every function.
February 1st was Shagna Di Raat where the wedding celebrations kicked off with a bang on Ghadoli ceremony. A customised tractor was designed for this ceremony. Family and friends showered the groom Inish with lots of love and blessings at the Haldi ceremony that took place later. Ashish Chabbra gave a mesmerising performance and made everyone dance the night away. This event was held at the Veda, 54 Bijwasan in New Delhi.
On February 2 was the Mehendi. The festivities for the day began with the colourful and vibrant, feel in the air. The Pearl Ballroom of the Leela in Gurgaon was selected and given a makeover with a fusion of Punjabi and London Thumakda theme. Gauri, the bride entered the venue in a Royal Punjabi Dhol palki and Inish with swag in a Segway! The beautiful bride-to-be adorned her hands and feet with striking designs of henna. While Sufi Sparrows made the families dance to their tunes, the sumptuous spread of DillikiChaat, Global cuisines, and decadent desserts made the guests go gaga.
The baraat was on the night of the mehendi, it was hosted at The Ritz, Ambience Island. The baraat procession came in with 21 pc band, lights, DJ, drinks and Babulgaon band. Ritz was looking like a stage that is specially set for the couple’s fairytale moment with whimsical lights and somber colours! The Bride and the Groom exchanged the Varmalas and than the stage was rocked by the Punjabi legend Gurdas Mann.
Anand Karaj was on February 3 on a bright sunny afternoon where the beautiful pastel shades were the theme for the D-Day when Inish and Gauri were all set to exchange the vows.The bride and groom entered in a sports car. After the sacred vow exchange, the party was rocked by Nooran sisters.
The most awaited evening was the Cocktail Night held at Devam which was embellished so regal and royal that it looked no less than a movie set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The family performances stole the show, while the famed duo artists, Meet Bros were the center of attraction. The cake cutting moment left the guests amazed.
