Jagran Solutions Successfully Manages the Debut Edition of DNA Sir JJ Architecture Awards 2018

It is often said that ‘Good buildings come from good people and all problems are solved by good design.’ Taking the same ideology further, DNA presented the first season of Sir JJ Architecture Awards 2018. The awards were held on January 19, 2018, at The Lalit, Andheri and felicitated the designers of incredible edifices that have made their alma mater - Sir JJ College of Architecture, Mumbai - proud.
Jagran Solutions (A Unit of Jagran Prakashan Ltd.) conceptualised and executed the event for DNA, starting from ideating the windows concept, creating content and communication, designing the trophy, arranging artists, conceptualising acts, gathering content from the awardees to even crafting the launch moment.
The evening was enlivened with unique performances and video presentations that tugged at the heartstrings of every JJ alumni present. The show started with logo revealing act following which, panellists shared their views on the ‘Transformation of Architectural education and the role of Sir J.J. College of Architecture in it’. The panel discussion was followed by the address of Meeta Rajiv Lochan, Principal Secretary, Higher and Technical Education, Maharashtra who was the chief guest of the evening. The show ended with mega interactive dance act performed by the Fictitious group featuring art coming into life, crowning with coffee table book launch.
In his welcome remarks, Rajat Kumar, CRO, DNA, said, “Sir JJ College of Architecture has created scholars, who have distinguished themselves through extraordinary achievement in their respective professions. It is our privilege to honour these masterminds today and continue to create several such ripples in the water of knowledge, passion and innovation.”
On the other end, talking about the Show, Pawan Bansal, COO at Jagran Solutions added “It was an honour for team Jagran to create larger than life experience to honour the nation builders and we are thankful to DNA for trusting us. This event was all about creating wow moments for the masterminds of our nation. The greatest pleasure was to work with DNA, AAJA and Sir JJ College of Architecture and sync their thought process to ideate the theme with experiences that not only struck a chord with the folks but also garnered a lot of PR mileage.”
