Brothers Incorporated AR Rahman
The name A.R Rahman needs no introduction. What defines Rahman, is the illustrious musical work that the singer and music composer has produced over the 25 eventful years of his stellar existence in the Indian & global music industry.
Brothers Incorporated (new venture by #eventprofs Ninad Shah and Rahul Tuljapukar) created the perfect opportunity for Rahman fans to revel in his glory as they announced the A.R Rahman Concert at Bollywood Parks Dubai on January 26. of 2018. The initiative by Brothers Incorporated was produced by MR B LIVE Entertainment with artist management by AKR Events.
The concert made it to media headlines and created unprecedented buzz ever since its announcement. However, the challenge for the organizers here was bigger than anyone could realize. The biggest one being, what ‘Experience’ you should serve to an evolved concert audience that has converged from different parts of the world to celebrate the musical genius that is A.R. Rahman? Brothers Incorporated hit it out of the park when they answered this question by serving to the audiences, over 3 hours of pure and unadulterated A.R Rahman magic.
Yes, what made this A.R Rahman Concert significantly better than all other tours and concerts seen in the recent past was the simple fact that this one was headlined by its content together with stellar elements of staging, production, pyros, lights and visual content. The concert stage was 323 feet wide packed with 300 fixtures of intelligent lighting and 20k resolution content.
Another highlight was the supporting acts by supremely talented performers like Neeti Mohan, Benny Dayal, Jonita Gandhi and Javed Ali. Their performances perfectly synched with the background visuals, stunning stage design, enthralling tech & sound structure and flawless execution made the concert such a celestial delight that the audiences didn’t mind sticking around till the very end despite humongous fog and dew.

Commenting on the challenges of the project Ninad Shah and Rahul Tuljapukar jointly stated, “It has been a herculean task to get things moving in this market. With all that has gone down in the past, Dubai is jaded, jaded by various assumptions, templates and notions of what works, would work or even does not. We started with researching the market basis the back-end and the consumers. We found an opportunity at every step, and we knew weeks before that we are creating a new benchmark. Nothing is easy, but while challenges are a part of any eco-system, there are some which you account for and some you don’t. The idea is not to let these change your focus from the goals you have set, the objectives you need/want to achieve and the consumer experience to top it all. I am glad we could achieve what we set out to.”

Leading emcee Kubbra Sait was caught walking out of the concert venue with the biggest smile on her face. She commented, “AR Rahman live in concert, was one of the finest, experiences of my life. The show direction, the humility of the man himself, no opening artists, no frills, just pure bliss of music, mom and I could relate to, click our fingers and tap our toes too. The visuals, the sound quality, the lineup of artists, was just above every expectation, the comfort of driving in and out of the venue, was priceless, the ease of ticketing and overall, I would congratulate every team, who toiled to make it a smooth, happy day for all those who attended.”
The custodians at Brothers Incorporated add, “When we were signing this on, we went into a major discussion on the whys, what’s, when’s and how’s. For starters, we thought about what this man to his fans, to the regular listener, to the world and to us? He is a legend, what more does one want to know for a concert curated by HIM to have success written all over it. It was brain wrecking to find something bigger than AR Rahman himself... and there it was - our country, India; the emotion called patriotism that brings over 1/7th of the world together. We chose Jan 26th and hoped that ARR could close the concert with his iconic tribute to our nation- Vande Mataram! And for the sake of great surprises, the song is extremely close to his heart, and he seldom performs it live; guess what? To our surprise and the 20,000 people that attended, He DID.”
