ThinkXQ Manages Baker Hughes’s Presence at NDE 2017

THINK XQ won the mandate from Baker Hughes, (a GE company), to manage their booth at the Conference and Exhibition on Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE). The conference took place from December 14 to 16, 2017, at the Chennai Trade Centre in Tamil Nadu. THINK XQ oversaw the design, content, end to end management and execution of the stall. This was the second consecutive year that THINK XQ was roped to manage the presence of the brand at NDE.

As guests visited the booth, the hostesses registered them using tablets. A customised registration tool was also designed by the agency to engage and inform the audiences about BHGE products as well. There were over 400+ walk-ins registered over 3 days of the exhibition.

One of the key highlights was the Governer of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. Banwarilal Purohit’s visit to the booth. He was warmly welcomed and given an informative tour of the various products offered by Baker Hughes.

The main attraction of the stall was the “Tweet Café”, an innovative form of digital amplification for the event, where guests had to tweet for a treat. Five numbered doors were in place, each with a treat hidden behind it. Guests were instructed to tweet “#BHGEatNDE2017” followed by a door number, after which they could exciting gifts. This engaged the guests and BHGE’s presence at NDE was amplified as well.

Additionally, there were speaker sessions organised at the stall itself where Kol from BHGE touched upon various interesting topics related to the Oil & Gas industry. These were streamed on BHGE social pages as well.

Collin Sen, Assistant General Manager - THINK XQ, shared his views on the experience at the conference- “The stall was as important to us as it was to Baker Hughes. It was extremely rewarding to see the stall come together seamlessly. There were definitely challenges in managing the whole setup in such a short duration, but it was worth the end result. Perfect Planning, Talented Partners and an amazing team is what it takes to deliver such an elegant stall. Everything was thought up from scratch, be it the design or the content for the booth. It was a great informative experience, and we hope to continue crafting XQuisite brand stories for BHGE and all other clients.” 

This was the second consecutive year that THINK XQ was roped to manage the presence of the brand at NDE.
