Beach Polo Club Dubai 2017, Powered by Nissan saw some of the best Polo players join hands for an intense tournament on December 14 and 15, 2017. Making a shift from the traditional dates for the tournament in April, the event was held in December to make the most of the weather and also invite active participation from international players. The entire event was planned and executed by Mamemo Production, who post the event acknowledged event partners through a detailed Facebook video.

Under the continued patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the Chairman of the Dubai 2017 Cup, the event set the bar higher with evening matches in an all new setup that combined to create a more elevated spectator and social experience.

Executed under the iconic skyline of SkyDive Dubai, Beach Polo Cup Dubai 2017, presented by Nissan, opened the 2017-2018 polo season with new Team Nissan Leaf galloping away with the tournament cup from Team Royal Pearls in a dramatic final of “gladiators on the sand”.

With over 15 partners toiling away, the event was one of the largest in the history of the Beach Polo Club in Dubai. A brainchild of Mamemo’s Managing and Creative Director Sam Katiela, Beach Polo has grown and inspired similar tournaments in more than 38 locations around the world. The latest iteration of the Beach Polo Cup Dubai saw active participation and planning from 15 event planners spread across 12 intense days of setup, resulting in two days of thrilling Polo competitions.
