The 2nd Edition of Reebok #FitToFight Awards Celebrates the Power of Women

Reebok India celebrated the second edition of the #FitToFightAwards at Taj Lands End on December 17, 2017. The #FitToFightAwards are an extension of Reebok’s #FitToFight campaign, that propagates the belief that fitness brings out the best in each one of us, and is not just physical, but also social and mental.
To celebrate the power of women, Reebok introduced its #FitToFight campaign last year, with brand ambassador Kangana Ranaut as the face of the campaign, to inspire women to be strong willed and indomitable when faced with challenges.
Conceptualising and executing yet another edition, Toast Events was awarded the mandate for the event. Raising the bar this edition, the fitness brand launched the second edition of #FitToFight in September this year, with another compelling narrative and ‘Girls Don’t Fight’ as the overarching theme.
Bringing this theme to life Toast Events, created experiences at the event which resonated Women Power, through use of colours, communication and designs across the event. The set design was created in colours of Red and Gold, Red representing the Reebok Delta Logo and Gold symbolising the purity of heart and strength showcased by these women. The red carpet backdrop created was made in curve synonymising the wave of life and how these powerful women ride it like they own it.
The second edition of the #FitToFightAwards campaign received over 500 inspiring entries, and the awards ceremony saw the presence of renowned Bollywood celebrities, eminent dignitaries, fashion designers and stylists, socialites, including Reebok brand ambassadors Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor who came out to support these women achievers as also inspire other women to not let society to inhabit them from breaking the norms and doing better for others.
Creating finer experiences for the guests, the décor at the event resonated the spirit of Fit to Fight, a central bar was made in the format of the Delta emerging, symbolising the rise of the phoenix. Where as the stage was made to be in a larger than life format with a large Delta and installation of Fit to Fight, flanked by large LED panels laced in Gold.
Showcasing fitness in the cultural arts, the performances of the evening were also in theme, as Nitish Bharti showcased the journey of a woman, a poetry recital by Aranya and Sudeep, to a dance performance by the Bom Squad, culminating to a hilarious laugh riot by Aditi Mittal. Each performance showcasing evolution of woman through its phases of life, challenges and the strength she holds to fight it for herself and her own.
The event received fantastic media turnout with outstanding coverage across media channels and platforms. With some of the biggest names present like Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Richa Chada, Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Vaani Kapoor from Bollywood and Fashion glitterati like Nishka Lulla, Nachiket Barve and Neeta Lulla amongst the many.
