Adidas Partners with Toast Events to Launch its First ‘Shop-in-Shop’ Outlet in Gurugram

German multinational sportswear brand Adidas recently tied up with Lifestyle stores for women’s athleisure ‘shop-in-shop’ outlets. The first among these outlets was launched at Gurugram, on December 8 2017. The brand had announced the launch of ‘shop-in-shop’ outlets at Lifestyle stores to strengthen its consumer outreach in women’s category.
It inaugurated the first such outlet in MGF Metropolis, Gurugram. Through the event, Adidas Women wanted to announce its association with Lifestyle Stores. The conference was set within the Adidas SIS and the media was invited to a panel discussion with the 3 strong women in their area of expertise.
Toast Events was given the mandate to execute the entire event end to end where the team organised a Zumba session by Shwetambari Shetty with over 100+ participants who attended the session along with renowned boxing athlete Nikhat Zareen, actress Sanya Malhotra, and musician Monica Dogra.
The conference took on a new avatar when Monica announced a ‘Squats Challenge’, followed by a Zumba session at MGF Metropolis Mall which was converted into a Zumba open-air studio that drew in various Adidas customers, Zumba enthusiast from across Delhi NCR.
The setup was exquisite with a unique turf backdrop and the overall event was executed flawlessly.
Commenting on the event, Maruschka Fernandes, Head – Client Servicing, – Toast Events said, “This was a very last-minute event and Adidas asked if we are up for a challenge, and we said hell, yes! And I flew to Gurgaon the next morning to work from the Adidas headquarters to plan the whole event from scratch along with the support of my team.”
Gautam Mehta, Operations Lead on the remarked, “I have worked immensely with Adidas and we love the challenges they bring onto us with each new brief. However, this was a different challenge as the venue was very large and had many hurdles but we managed to execute a fantastic quality event!”
