Motorola Partners Fountainhead MKTG to “Unveil Perfection” at the Launch of Moto x4

Motorola launched their highly anticipated smartphone — the new moto x4 — on November 13, 2017, at The Lalit, New Delhi. Attended by over 150 guests from the world of tech media, bloggers and other enthusiasts, this launch event was conceptualised, planned, and managed by Fountainhead MKTG, a Dentsu Aegis Network Company.
Centered around the core product proposition of “experience perfection”, each touchpoint at the event had the guests experience something totally unique and representative of perfection. This started with the eye-popping moto batwing installation that was embedded within an infinity mirror that suggested the infinite depth packed inside the sleek body of the new smartphone.
The launch stage was also designed to be unlike any other traditional setup, incorporating such elements as an elegantly designed reflective backdrop (representing the metallic body), a protruding angled circular rim (similar to the one on the rear camera) and even a live glass tub (to highlight the waterproofing and durability of the phone) where the phone was submerged live on the webcast.
As a final touch, even the demo area for the new moto x4 was designed to inspire awe, with a live water curtain as the backdrop, an exhibition of some of the incredible photos taken with the new smartphone, and the display of the some of the new moto x4s on a sand-filled fishbowl – all showcasing both the beauty and durability of this smartphone.
Besides the exceptional design installations and setup, the multiple Bluetooth device connectivities of the phone was also exhibited to all guests by connecting the smartphone to the spot to 4 different Bluetooth speakers and headphones. With multiple podiums dedicated to this one of a kind feature, we really left our guests humming to the brand anthem by the time they left.
The event kicked off with a welcome speech by Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director of Motorola Mobility India, followed by a product presentation by Jim Thide, Global Head of Product Marketing. The formal presenters were also joined by the highly talented, Celebrity Chef, Restaurateur, and Model – Sarah Todd – who had been using the new moto x4 for the last few days and was more than happy to share her experiences with the new smartphone.
