“All Free Spirits Welcome” that’s how the iconic Harley-Davidson India welcomed the brotherhood to their Pavilion at the 5th edition of the India Bike Week 2017 (IBW ’17). The Yellow Stage being the national partner to Harley-Davidson India for the last five years was roped in to manage the experiential pavilion yet again.
Harley-Davidson thrives on being able to provide its Harley owners and the motorcycle enthusiasts a surround Harley experience and that was what they wanted the Harley-Davidson booth at the IBW ’17 to emulate. The brief shared with The Yellow Stage was to design a space, where the experience of the bikers would go hand in hand with the essence of the brand and that blends in the city Goa, of Being Free!
Designed to be a Harley-Davidson Shack, the Harley-Davidson booth at the India Bike Week stood a class apart. The booth overlooking the 1st ever Harley-Davidson flat track added some adrenaline for the riders to experience. Right from designing to production and the complete execution of the pavilion, artist management and logistics, The Yellow Stage managed all deliverables to perfection.
At the pavilion, Harley-Davidson India greeted Harley owners and motorcycle enthusiasts with the next custom revolution unleashed, the all-new Model Year 2018 line-up displayed at the India Bike Week 2017. Bikers got a first-hand experience of the Harley-Davidson Shack which gave them a taste of the brand’s true character. The shack had unconventional elements that enhanced the overall ambiance.
As the sun set over the horizon, the pavilion saw the legendary Valentine Shipley taking over, as he belted out old rock classics. The first-ever Harley-Davidson Flat Track, saw Vijay Singh Ajairajpura of Rajputana Customs Motorcycles tame on the first ever Harley flat tracker built in India.
Talking about the execution, the official spokesperson from Harley-Davidson India commented, “Harley-Davidson’s India experience at India Bike week has always been fantastic but this year, it went above and beyond their expectations. From their beach shack, a themed pavilion which garnered a lot of eyeballs to introducing their first flat track racer in collaboration with Rajputana customs, this year the entire experience had been taken a notch above. The Yellow Stage did a fabulous job by flawlessly executing the concept thus, providing an authentic Harley-Davidson experience. As a brand, they have witnessed India Bike Week get bigger and better with every passing year. Bikers across the country come together for this one festival to celebrate their love and passion for motorcycles, and they truly believe that this motoring extravaganza will be remembered and cherished by all”.
