ASSITEJ India Announces TIFLI, an International Theatre Festival for Young Audiences

ASSITEJ India has announced the 2017 edition of TIFLI - International TYA Festival from December 3 to 9, 2017. The festival will be spread over three cities - Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad. The performances will be held in National Bal Bhawan, New Delhi, with three show timings:  5:00pm, 6:00pm, 7:00pm. The tickets for the festival can be booked through BookMyShow (and also directly through the venue). 

Spread over seven days, TIFLI brings together workshops and master classes in addition to showcasing national and international performances for young audience from five countries - Argentina, France, India, South Korea, and USA. Over 15 plays, by more than 100 artists, will be performed multiple times amounting to 45 shows during the festival in Delhi.

ASSITEJ India has been organising "Tifli" - an international theatre festival for young audience since the past three years and ITifli has featured teams from Denmark, Germany, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, France, Iran and Sri Lanka. From India the festival has had some of the finest theatre groups such as Habib Tanvir's Naya Theatre, Rangshankara Theatre from Bangalore, Katkatha Puppet Art trust from Delhi, Indian mime theatre of Niranjan Goswami from Kolkata, and more with performances showcased across genres such as Puppet Theatre, Object Theatre, Mime, Music Theatre, and Theatre for Toddlers. 

The International TYA Festival has been announced from December 3-9, 2017 and will see performances from Indian as well as International artists.
