The second edition of UNWTO/UNESCO Culture and Tourism Conference is all set to kick off on December 11 and 12,2017 in the Sultanate of Oman. The spectacle will witness attendance from Ministers of Tourism and Ministers of Culture from different countries to identify key opportunities and obstacles for a stronger cooperation between tourism and culture. They will discuss sustainable development that strengthens the socio-economic links, reinforce mutual engagement in the promotion, protection, and safeguarding of culture and heritage.
As the United Nations has declared 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development, the conference will keep in line with the theme. The goals and targets will stimulate action over the next fifteen years in areas of critical importance for people, prosperity, planet, peace, and partnership.
For all the participants who wish to attend this conference, the host government will provide a free Oman visa.
The Conference will take place on December 11 and 12, 2017 in Muscat, Oman
