Mpower Set to Host GenM - Arijit Singh Music Concert in Mumbai

Mpower, an organization devoted to creating awareness about the sensitive cause of mental health is organizing ‘Mpower presents GenM’ – a music concert by Arijit Singh to support the mental health movement in India.

Through the initiative, Mpower aims to be the movement to affect change and end all stigma through dialogue around mental health. The Mpower Centre and Foundation can be visited by individuals, regardless of socio-economic status, gender, disability, age, religion, caste, or sexual orientation to benefit from the professional mental health services provided. Because, every individual has the right to quality mental health care.

The concert is set to take place on November 12th, 2017 at MMRDA Grounds, BKC, Mumbai.

Talking about it Neerja Birla, Founder and Chairperson, Mpower Minds, said, “We have launched GenM to be a music concert for young people and to provide a platform to engage in meaningful dialogue on mental health, in a fun and relatable way. At Mpower we strongly believe in creating awareness and eradicating stigma associated with mental health. Through this platform we urge everybody to take a pledge and support this cause. We are very happy that Arijit Singh will be performing and helping us spread the word."

Arijit Singh expresses his delight at being associated with the event. “I'm extremely thrilled to be a part of this initiative by Neerja Birla, Ananya Birla and their team at Mpower. With everything happening in the world right now, I believe that we all need to come together and stand up for causes that truly affect us. Every voice matters and I'm lending mine too.
