GS Worldwide Entertainment Jaipur Pink Panther
Pro Kabaddi Season 5 saw some of the best players being owned by Abhishek Bachchan’s team Jaipur Pink Panthers. Some of them were Manjeet Chhillar, Jasvir Singh, Selvamani K and Somvir Shekhar. The team, spearheaded by the ace all-rounder, Manjeet Chhillar was handed over to GS Worldwide Entertainment to manage in the first prolonged season which consumed 3 months.
The Jaipur based team united at home for a month long pre-season where GS Sports welcomed them and arranged practice area and jogging grounds within the Sawai Man Singh stadium for the team. The team used to practice for 5-7 hours daily which involved fitness as well as Kabaddi mat sessions. The team’s fitness was evaluated by the best team of physiotherapists, sports scientists and strength & conditioning coaches.

A team of 12 members including 2 videographers, a media team, masseurs and social media manager travelled with the team to 14 venues in the country where the team was scheduled to play matches. A total of 20 players were a part of the squad this season as the teams were allowed to buy in more number of players due to its prolonged nature.
GS Worldwide Entertainment director, Juspreet Singh Walia, who is closely associated with the owner, Abhishek Bachchan and team CEO, Ramesh said, “This season was quite a challenge for us as it was the first time that the players had to play around 22 games over a period of 3 months. We assembled the best support staff who acted like a backbone to the team during the tournament.”

GS Sports has been associated with the team since Pro Kabaddi’s inception. On its journey with Jaipur Pink Panthers, Juspreet Singh Walia quoted, “It’s the love for Kabaddi which drives us to do better than the rest for the team. We do not just completely support the team’s needs but also connect at an emotional level which is very natural in the sports.”
GS Sports not only helped the playing squad with their logistics and kitting but also their stay, daily training sessions and nutrition even after changing cities and challenging venues.

The Pro Kabaddi Season 5 fever ended for Jaipur on a very high note. The Sawai Man Singh Stadium recorded most number of crowds since 4 years. All the six days saw a fully packed venue to witness the action of the home team, Jaipur Pink Panthers.
GS Worldwide Entertainment was assigned for the job of venue branding and stadium setup for the 5th time in a row as they have managed to improve exponentially and reinvent possibilities in event management year after year.
The stadium branding included box office booths, signages, entrance arches and a warmup area for the players. The various seating areas were branded in team colours which incurred vigour and passion in the fans for their home team! The numerous rooms involving the medical, media, broadcasting area and hospitality area for VIPs were specially designed, keeping the Pro Kabaddi and the team’s theme in mind for this specific season.
When asked about the challenges that were faced by the venue operations team, Production Head, Jignesh Jain at GS Worldwide Entertainment explained, “Kabaddi has grown exponentially in the country and so has its fan following. We’ve witnessed crowds like never before even on weekdays and managing such enthusiastic crowds was definitely a challenge at the venue.”
It is surely evident that a long time bond with the team has helped GS Sports and GS Worldwide Entertainment to build better coordination levels with the game naturally. The GS team is looking forward for the season 6 edition and is excited for the forthcoming Asian Games slated for later next year in 2018.
