Kestone Melting Pot 2020

Kestone and CL Educate have announced the second edition of MeltingPot2020, an annual innovation summit to be held in Hyderabad on November 14-15, 2017. This is the only property on Innovation in India, to facilitate collaboration, networking and knowledge sharing between the academia and corporates. This year, MeltingPot2020 will be focusing on ‘Israel – The Start-Up Nation”.

For the first time, heads of leading universities and innovation focused leaders from Israel will share insights, stories and ideas on creating an Israel-India innovation corridor and lessons that each country can learn from the other in their journey to become a global innovation hub.

MeltingPot2020, 2017 is planned at a larger scale with 150+industry leaders and 100+ institution heads participating in the event. The parallel youth festival – Young Innovators Festival has received 87 innovative ideas from 40+ colleges from which the top 15 will be showcased at the event. Another notable feature is the Start-Up Pavilion which will feature 5 high tech, start-ups in the go-to-market stage selected from nominations received from prestigious universities like IIMB, IIMA, IIITB and incubators like T-Hub and GenNext Innovation Hub. There is also an interesting session titled “Ingredients of a Great Start-Up” that will feature top VCs and heads of institutional innovation centers which will highlight key aspects of a great start-up needed to attract investors.

Last year MeltingPot2020 acted as a catalyst in bringing transformation into the Indian innovation landscape pertaining to industries like Fin Tech, AdTech, MarTech and EdTech. The platform also enabled collaboration between the various stakeholders in the innovation eco-system, where agreements were signed between corporates and institutions. To enable cutting edge research and start-up incubation in universities in the area of power electronics, CL Educate has recently signed an agreement with Su-Kam Power Systems Limited.
